I'm seeing the same thing. Purchased in 2000. I can't speak for the last month, but housing was typically going for close to asking and nothing priced reasonably sits for more than a few weeks. Our taxes are cheap. (4500 for a 5 B 2.5 BA) Our schools are very good and our neighborhood is excellent. Prices haven't plummeted because our area is in demand and we didn't see a huge run-up in prices. Plus the towns that you speak of are drawing NJ and Philadelphia residents.
