New Jersey Is Poised To Become a New Celebrity Hot Spot Thanks to Netflix’s Presence

Hollywood, New York City, Miami, Aspen. When you think of hot spots where you might have an unexpected celebrity sighting, those cities usually top the list. But fairly soon, there may be another contender: Monmouth County, NJ.

Thanks to Netflix’s new $1 billion investment to transform the previously shuttered 292-acre former Fort Monmouth U.S. Army base into its East Coast production hub, things are about to heat up on the Jersey Shore. Not only will more celebrities be working at the film and TV facility, but businesses (including real estate) in the vicinity are about to get a starry boost.

“As someone who has lived, worked, and raised a family here in Monmouth County for many years, I can tell you firsthand that there’s already been an uptick in interest since the Netflix Studios announcement,” Teresa Minnick, a broker with Christie’s International Real Estate Group and director of sales for The Atlantic Club Residences, a posh new luxury development in Long Branch, NJ, tells Realtor.com®.

Though the new Netflix Studios won’t be completed until 2028, the surrounding hubbub is leading some forward-thinking buyers, including celebrities, to property shop now—before the area explodes.

“I never had celebrity showings, and I’ve had three of them in the last five weeks,” Aleksander Pritsker, CEO of Team Blackstar at eXp Realty, said recently on “The BRO Show” podcast. “They’re coming in and scoping, they’re looking, they’re seeing what’s out there.”

In other words, the presence of Netflix is primed to reshape the entire demographic of the Jersey Shore, including adding more star power.

So Kirk‘s shooter was in a homosexual relationship with a guy who dressed up like a female. Fine, to each their own. However, reports are that the partner likely helped radicalize the shooter. The lover apparently „hated“ conservatives and Christians according to reports. IMHO the tranny community is extremely dangerous based on the high profile murders and assassination attempts they have been involved in. Even more alarming are the polls showing a high percentage of Left Wing supporters who approve of murdering those that they politically disagree with.

It looks like Utah is a hotbed for extremists right now. The Salt Lake City bomb squad removed a bomb that failed to detonate from under a local Fox News vehicle. The FBI has arrested two men who by their names could be of middle east origin. Outside their house was a banner that said „Lets Go TACO“. Very troubling.

I wonder who is going to own all of those soybean farms in the breadbasket of America now that all of the farmers are going broke.

BlackRock gonna buy them at auction? Two Sigma? Elliot Manangement?

Maybe Pulte homes will turn that beautiful farmland into some mixed housing development?

Or maybe another weed farm. Apparently we need to make more weed to smoke.

Every car I have rented in the past year reeks from reefer. The hotels smell like it too.

Dark – The American farmers have know about this for a long long time. Brazilians have been increasing their grain farming for a long time. There is infact a global soybean oversupply.

Converting existing pasture areas to cropland and deforestation. It’s been a slow and steady plan for 40 years. 1985 and 2022, the total area under agricultural cultivation in Brazil increased from 47 million acres to 150 million acres.

Here is a visualization of all of the soybean farms. It’s looks to be as large as the size of Texas.

So, these two no-grass-touching jerkoffs discuss offing Kirk, and one of them carries it out. I mean, this seems like the type of deranged activity that stricter gun control laws attempt to hinder, albeit imperfectly, by placing points of friction between the tools and the shooter.

It seems that the country as a whole rallied around this idea that some gun deaths are, unfortunately, worth it so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our God-given right. If this is the collective position, I fail to see the logic behind the outrage.

Of course you will, cause you are a logical thinker, and it doesn’t make sense.

Like when the lady pulls up to McDonalds, asks for hot coffee, gets it, but then complains that it’s hot.

Humans just do and think things. Some can’t decide what sex they are. Others think they are the opposite. Still more think there is a man in the sky who says the first two are bad. Others like cats, yet some hate them. Some hate others that are 99.99% genetically the same as them other than the color of their skin. Some feed the homeless, others want them euthanized.

Then there is a war. Suddenly they all unite around a flag and are so happy people without weapons of mass destruction are being bombed in a place they have never visited. This phenomenon lasts about two weeks, until the Superbowl, where half of them love one team and the other half hates that team.

Lets not even get into social media.

God, it’s about time for you to step up your game. All eyes are on you, and this shits all falling apart down here.

  48. Juice Box says:

    r: “banning ALL guns”

We go back to Medieval Times then.. 200 yards should not be impossible either with a crossbow. The longest ever arrow shot was 2,047 yards (1,871.84 meters) by Harry Drake in 1988 using a crossbow.

  49. Boomer Remover says:

    Juice,
Any tool, in theory, can be lethal. Hammers can kill too. But modern societies regulate based on risks, scale and frequency.

Guns are uniquely efficient at killing… quickly and from a distance. The quick part is at least partially recognized by the widespread adoption of regulations against expanded magazines, bump stocks, etc.

The fact that you can fire an arrow 2,00 yards under perfect lab conditions doesn’t change the objective reality, which is that crossbows and bows are not used to kill people in countries without access to guns.

The existence of tools which *can* be used as weapons, however inefficiently, should not be used as an excuse for the availability of more efficient tools.

Crossbows exist, and Harry Drake was a real-life person, but we don’t see crossbow massacres in other countries. Therefore, I posit that guns turn small beefs into larger events either through the use of a) scale (takes a while to reload the crossbow), or b) accuracy (what would have likely become a missed crossbow shot across a college campus lawn instead found its mark.

    Prove me wrong.

  50. Juice Box says:

Boomer more homicides committed with knives in the USA over rifles. Perhaps as many as 3 times as many? People normally do not not run around and shoot people with rifles. Handguns however are a different category for sure.

  51. Nom Deplume says:

No need to bans.. just reasonable regulation. Not that it would have mattered with this asshole’s death, but it could help a lot of other meaningful lives.

  52. OC1 says:

Handguns are, by far, the #1 murder weapon.

Semiautomatic rifles (like the AR-15) are the #1 weapon for school shooters and other mass murderers. The total number of murders by semiauto rifles is “realitively small” (by US standards at least. Probably would be considered a national crisis in any other country not experiencing civil war).

When it comes to gun control, I think the Swiss (who have a very strong gun culture) get it right- big restrictions on hand guns and semiauto rifles, but practically no restrictions on bolt-action rifles and shotguns.

To me, this seems like an excellent compromise.

People can hunt, target shoot, defend their homes… but we restrict the type of guns that cause all the carnage.

Shaun Loughery is pouring his earnings into bull semen.

In past years, he has spent around $120,000 annually on semen and breeding bulls. The idea is to produce cattle that can yield juicier steaks—and fetch higher prices. This year, Loughery plans to double his typical investment.

There will be no commonsense gun regulation in this country; ever. It’s just not happening. American culture genuflects to individual achievements over greater societal good. The *was* an almost perverse weight placed on individual liberties at the expense of the many, but now that individual liberties are being curtailed, it seems like a lose/lose for all involved. Less individual freedoms without any greater societal good.
