From Fox News:
This is the most affordable city in the US
Realtor.com economists determined in a recent report that Pittsburgh is the lowest-priced large housing market in the U.S.
In October, the median listing price of a home in the metro was $250,000, which is more than $150,000 below the national median, according to Realtor.com senior economic research analyst Hannah Jones.
This comes just after the Steel City caught attention this summer for being the only major metro where becoming a first-time homeowner was more economical than paying monthly rent, Realtor.com reported.
Of the 50 largest U.S. metros, it was among only three that were deemed affordable for median earners based on the 30% affordability rule of thumb, Jones said in a June report.
The 30% affordability rule suggests that a potential homebuyer should spend no more than about 30% of their pre-tax income on housing, so there is room for other non-negotiables as well as savings. It is seen as a helpful benchmark for prospective buyers to gauge whether purchasing a home is financially prudent.
In May, the typical Pittsburgh for-sale home cost just $249,900, requiring only 27.4% of the median income to finance, assuming a 20% down payment and a typical 30-year fixed mortgage rate.
Pittsburgh is made up of 90 neighborhoods. In September 2025, the median list price was $269,000, trending up 3.5% year-over-year, while the median sold price was slightly higher at $271,000.

At least two friends of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky have been named in a ‘golden toilet’ scam that saw tens of millions of euros drained from wartime energy programmes.
Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau has been investigating a €86million pay-to-play scheme for procurement contracts at the state nuclear company, run by the energy ministry.
Businessman Tymur Mindich has been named as one of the seven suspects and is understood to have fled Ukraine last week.
Mindich, a business associated of the Ukrainian president, co-founded the entertainment company Kvartal 95 with Zelenksy and is accused of being the ringleader of the scheme.
Zelenksy and Mindich’s close friendship is well documented and, according to Ukrainian officials, experts and activists, Mindich’s rise to power is closely linked to his relationship with Zelensky’s inner circle.
The president used Mindich’s armored car during the final stretch of his presidential campaign in 2019, and in 2021, Zelensky celebrated his birthday in the businessman’s apartment during COVID. The two own properties in the same building.
Speaking to Fox News, a former Ukrainian government official said Mindich ‘had an apartment with golden toilets’, inspiring the nickname for the anti-corruption probe.
Mindich was also a close business associate of Ukrainian oligarch Ihor Kolomoysky, who backed Zelensky’s presidential campaign.

After everything that was plotted against him to „Get Trump“, certainly Biden (that was the President just before Trump was re-elected) and his helpers in the media would have leaked any and all information linking Trump to Epstein.
Ok, Biden was a crook, we all agree.
What does that have to do with Trump being a crook? It’s entirely irrelevant that Biden was a crook. That doesn’t give Trump a pass.
…certainly Biden (that was the President just before Trump was re-elected) and his helpers in the media would have leaked any and all information linking Trump to Epstein.
A golden stake to kill Trump the vampire. yet nothing there. The Dems would sell their grandmother to hold power so, you know they couldn’t find anything.
Chad: I have asked that question repeated about Biden and releasing damming information from the Epstein files. No one cares to comment on that, as it does not fit the narrative. Of course it’s Trumps fault for making the files an issue in the first place.
I don’t know if there is damning information about Trump in those files relating to women and or underage girls. I don’t think Trump in his prime had any issues getting women with his resorts and casinos etc. but who knows. I would say it’s reasonable to think there is information in there about friends of Trump donors , celebrities that he may be trying to protect.
There have been unending demands that Trump release the files, now he supposedly is, and now the cries are the files will be doctored, the files will be shredded. It’s almost like there was more mileage from Trump enemies by him not releasing the files then now finally releasing them.
He’s going to veto the release of the files which have been mostly destroyed by now
the video evidence is gone
3b,
I was thinking the same thing, neither Trump or Biden had any desire to release whatever is in the Epstein files because it is going to get a lot of fellow politicians, donors, and other well known rich people in a lot of trouble.

VSG: Trump said yesterday he would sign the order to release the files.
Chad: Yes, a very reasonable question, and yet people ignore it. The fact is not about the files themselves, it is not about the victims, or getting some kind of justice for them. It’s about getting Trump. If there is nothing bad about Trump in these files then surely they must be doctored or files were shredded. Trump is a lot of things but he is not stupid when it comes to self preservation. You would think that if there was damning information about him in those files he would not be stupid enough to demand they be released when he was running for reelection. That’s why I believe the damning information in those files is about wealthy friends and donors etc.

Dark: I don’t defend any of them including Trump. I don’t like Trump, but I do understand why he was elected. It should have been one and done but it was not, and wont go in to all of that again. I hate both sides. As for the files, I am just attempting to be rational. People cant scream about releasing the files, now finally they may be released and those same files we are now told will be suspect. doctored, destroyed or whatever, which is it. Like I said people were getting more mileage out of Trump not releasing the files then actually releasing them. I don’t know what’s in those files, just attempting to make a reasonable opinion as to what might be in those files. Others are convinced the files would show Trump is a pedophile, but now that they may be released those files will be doctored or destroyed. There may be a lot of damning information about a lot of prominent people in those files, and that’s who Biden was trying to protect, and that’s who Trump was trying to protect. The wealthy protected the wealthy despite their political differences.

Fab,
I learned CNC milling in my metals class. It’s pretty cool shit. Your kid will get rich one day. I just spent nearly 6 hours hanging custom faux wood Levelor blinds over the 11 windows I just had Dor-Win install. Though it was a true PITA, especially removing the old window hardware, I know the average American couldn’t do this. All in, new double hung vinyl windows, plus the custom blinds, were under 7K. They look incredible compared to the rotting original wood windows they replaced with pull down roller shades in equally shitty condition. Much better room darkening properties as well. I see vans parked in front of my neighbors houses nearly every day, besides the landscaping crews. I can only imagine what they are paying someone to do simple work.
D-Fens,
Just read an article on how Trump is expanding the cost of the Swamp faster than any POTUS before him. Just based on salary increases alone. Not to mention the additional hires. He talks a big game and then pulls out tiddlywinks. You believe he is going to release the Epstein files in a non-heavily redacted fashion? And Biden isn’t going to pardon his son.

Few people understand who Epstein was and what he actually did. Politicians know this and use it to their advantage.
If you really have an interest in what he did and why he did it, listen to Mike Benz’s posts on the subject.

I have asked that question repeated about Biden and releasing damming information from the Epstein files. No one cares to comment on that, as it does not fit the narrative.
I’ve commented on this here multiple times.
It is actually against DOJ policy to release information obtained during an investigation that doesn’t result in a prosecution.
Even if there is a prosecution, the only stuff they “release” is the evidence they present in court.
That’s a pretty reasonable policy imo; the gov has tremendous power to investigate someone, and they shouldn’t be releasing embarassing information they uncover if they’re not prosecuting you.
The fact that Biden’s DOJ didn’t release “the Epstein files” doesn’t mean there’s nothing there- it only means they were following their long-standing policy!
Oc1: Trump has the power to release the Epstein files, and Biden did not? All the media is stating that, and the NY Times said Trump can release them now, without waiting for the measure ti reach hos desk for signature. So, if there is/was damning information in those files, about Trump, wouldn’t Biden release them so that the American people would have this information before voting for Trump for President? Wouldn’t Biden be at least morally obligated to release that information to the American people.

Why do you think Ghilane Maxwell (Epstein’s accomplice) was transferred from a max security prison to a “club fed” minimum security prison?
Even in there, she has reportedly been getting special privileges not available to other inmates.
That transfer happened shortly after she was “interviewed” by the number 2 at the DOJ (who happens to be a former Trump lawyer).
The only reasonable expalnation I can see is that the transfer was the price for her silence re Trump and Epstein.

The Trump show rolls on.
—————————————————
Impending layoff notices across much of the U.S. surged in October, highlighting signs of stress in the job market.
Data from the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland shows that 39,006 Americans last month in 21 states received a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, or WARN, notice informing them of an upcoming layoff. U.S. labor law requires employers to provide these written warnings 60 days ahead of plant closings or mass layoffs.
It represents one of the highest numbers of WARN notices since Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland researchers started tracking the data in January 2006, although the tally remains below the spikes recorded during the 2008 financial crisis and the 2020 pandemic.
Layoff notices across the 21 states tracked by the Cleveland Fed reached a peak of more than 550,000 in March 2020.

Whoa. Bitcoin down to 89 and Ether down 8% today. Both are officially in correction territory.
Remember, it costs around 112k to mine a BTC right now. That tells you the level of this shake out. You think BTC is going away? No way, no how. I am pretty convinced this is the last shake out before the new levels. It is not sustainable at current pricing. Aka undervalued. Sooner or later, it will go up.
Right now BTC is down 20% on the year. Hard to find anything else performing that poorly. Just saying.
And remember what is happening right now in crypto….Large players (whales, institutions, trading firms) know exactly where the leverage is stacked. By pushing prices down hard and fast, they trigger stop-losses and liquidations in cascade. This creates a flood of supply at fire-sale prices, supply they are happy to absorb. The deeper the panic, the cleaner the transfer of coins from over-leveraged or emotional holders to patient, well capitalized ones. Then it flies up.
Lib,
20% is chit to me. That’s why I can handle crypto swings. I don’t get emotional. IDGAF if it is down 80%…this is why I belong here. I can handle it.
Fear is expensive. Study the mechanics, control your emotion, and act while the opportunity is still on sale. Apply this to stocks, crypto, or any investment like real estate.
You can live in a home and know that a share of a company has a value based on current earnings. A digital coin is a bunch of numbers determined by wasting gobs of power and expensive hardware to determine it. At least gold has to be physically mined. I still don’t know anyone who has purchased anything with crypto except for the next sucker and underaged gamblers.
I just want to add this:
Investing in crypto is not easy. You have to earn that chit. Anyone that claims someone is lucky for hitting it big in crypto has no idea of the discipline and emotion needed to hold through down periods and up periods. It’s just as hard to hold when it drops 50% as it is to hold after the investment went up 300%. Most sell too early on the way up and sell way too late on the way down.
Basically, apply this to any high risk investment.
Now everyone holds their breath for Nvidia earnings. Any chink in their armor and AI, Crypto and all of the indexes, which are way to overweighted with them go Titanic. I think this quarter will be okay. Next quarter is the one that concerns me.
Investing in Crypto is a lot like playing craps actually. Since there’s no intrinsic value in it, it really depends on the next sucker to value it more than you did. When you play craps, you need a very large bankroll to weather the large downswings before a whole bunch of points are made without two sevens coming out in a row. Sevens are the most common roll of two dice since it can be made 6 ways out of 36. Or about 16% of the time or 1/6th of the time the dice are rolled. 16% is a tough number to avoid over a period of rolls. Even so, and even knowing the house has an edge of a little less than 1/2 of 1% if you play the pass line, max odds and never stray away from the pass line, you will find people playing any number of the other 8 categories of bets all at diminished odds, making the excuse that they are hedges. This smooths out the volatility caused by the high variance, but diminishes the size of the return when the “odds breaking” roll finally does occur.
Your crypto strategy of buying low and selling high can be performed with any number of investment vehicles such as 3X leveraged ETFs of indexes, sectors, etc. The only difference being, that you can be somewhat diversified using the latter. Crypto can halve in a couple days. It has in the past. It will again in the future. If I were a gambling man, I would play the “don’t.” If I was an astute investor I wouldn’t gamble on crypto at all.
but can it outperform 3x crypto etfs!?
Lib,
Crypto is real. Wake up. It’s just so early that it is in constant price discovery. That’s the risk and why i am here.
I used to think like you last decade….i woke up.

The Crypto Trades That Amplified Gains Are Now Turbocharging Losses
Bitcoin’s steep fall highlights the growth of risky bets offered by Wall Street and crypto firms alike
By Vicky Ge Huang Caitlin Ostroff
Nov. 18, 2025 10:00 pm ET
The rally in crypto prices this year was boosted by a large heap of debt, with traders using leverage to amplify their gains. Now, after a punishing selloff in the past two weeks, the dangers of those bets are becoming apparent.
Investors have never had more ways to place complex wagers on crypto. In some cases, people can put down $1 of their own money to gain exposure to $100 of bitcoin. It is a strategy that can produce windfall profits—when the market breaks the borrower’s way. If it goes in the wrong direction, traders can be on the hook for big losses and can see their holdings liquidated if they don’t post sufficient funds.
Daily total liquidations on crypto exchanges have been on the rise this year. But in October, they shot up to a record high, according to data from CoinGlass, after President Trump’s surprise tariff announcement against China triggered a crypto selloff that compelled exchanges to close out underwater positions.
“In the end, it really comes down to the fact that you can invest with more means than you have, but it also means that you will get punished for not managing your risks accordingly,” said Nicolai Søndergaard, a research analyst at crypto data firm Nansen.
Pressure on leveraged traders has been one of the main story lines in crypto’s recent skid. Bitcoin has lost roughly 27% of its value since hitting a record high above $126,000 in October, with investors’ retreat from riskier trades dragging the largest cryptocurrency to a recent $92,000, its lowest level since April.
“The last two weeks have been really rough for a lot of people,” said Kevin Wan, a 33-year-old individual investor who has been trading cryptocurrencies since 2013.
Wan started selling bitcoin short, betting on its decline, once the token touched $106,000. He borrowed on a crypto exchange to give him 20 times leverage on his trade. When bitcoin fell, Wan said, he made about $120,000.
“I’ve learned from previous cycles to put money away in places where you can’t really access it,” he said. “Because it’s really easy to get into a mindset of revenge trading and then just having a downward spiral of performance when the market is hard.”
Bitcoin’s recent crash has also pulled down the shares of crypto-treasury companies. For much of the year, these companies sold stock or borrowed money to plow the proceeds into bitcoin, ether and other cryptocurrencies.
Strategy, a firm that pioneered the use of corporate funds to accumulate bitcoin, has tumbled 29% in the past month. BitMine Immersion Technologies, an ether-treasury company backed by Peter Thiel and run by veteran Wall Street strategist Tom Lee, is down 35%. Both stocks are well off the pace of bitcoin itself, which has fallen 13% in that same period.
Regulated institutions and fast-money traders alike are now pushing complex strategies such as options and futures, so-called treasury stocks and even crypto lending.
In years past, U.S. investors haven’t had access to many of the riskier strategies that crypto investors have used in other markets. But that began to change this year, with Trump’s re-election ushering in a more crypto-friendly Washington.
This summer, Coinbase, the largest U.S. exchange, launched perpetual futures, a type of financial contract that never expires and lets traders bet on digital tokens’ rise using up to 10 times leverage. Cboe plans to launch bitcoin and ether continuous futures with 10-year expirations in December.
Crypto lending is also making a comeback. The practice, a staple in the market’s 2021 run-up, looks a lot like traditional banking. A lender takes in deposits from one set of customers, and then lends those funds out to a different group at a higher interest rate than it pays depositors.
But in the crypto markets, lenders typically offer depositors much higher yields than those available in dollar-based bank savings accounts. When crypto markets tumbled in 2022, many of these lenders collapsed.
The dollar-denominated value of outstanding loans from centralized crypto lenders and decentralized lending platforms ballooned to a record high around $74 billion at the end of September, exceeding the previous record of $69 billion set in the fourth quarter of 2021, according to research from Galaxy Digital.
While bitcoin’s recent selloff has wiped out some leveraged bets, traders expect it to tick back up.
“Until there’s some sort of overriding body that says this is where you have to cap leverage, I just can’t see that changing,” said Jake Ostrovskis, head of over-the-counter trading at crypto firm Wintermute.

And that article you shared is describing exactly what i talked about. Hunting leverage. Remember, they don’t want people to make easy money. They always clean out leverage before next level up every single time.

Lib; Those are impressive numbers, that’s for sure. Party is back on at least for tomorrow.
Remember, the market rewords the few and hurts the majority. Always remember that. The obvious is always wrong in the short term.
Got invited to a hen party this weekend.
Should be interesting.
Criminal, how they took one more shot to shoot down btc/crypto today….f’ed up. I can’t complain because that’s what creates opportunities to buy cheap, but i do feel bad for the people they rob.

“Why do you think Ghilane Maxwell (Epstein’s accomplice) was transferred…”
So far all the Epstein files have shown us is that there are lots of Dem dirtbags. Not that we needed to be reminded of that, but the tally of Epstein enablers so far consists of…
– Oblama’s Treasury Secretary and leftist blowhard, Larry ‘the putz’ Summers, who begged Epstein to help him get a date with a woman that he was mentoring
– Hakeem ‘Dollar Store Oblama’ Jeffries, who tried to fundraise from Epstein well after his dirty exploits had been known
– The Dem DEI dingbat from the Virgin Islands who begged Epstein for dirt
Does anybody doubt that Slick Willy and Anthony Weiner are in the files?
“Jeff, he’s the Brooklyn version of Obama, I know you’ll love him. He really wants to meet you.”
“Sounds good but does he know what I’m up against?”
“It doesn’t matter, it’s all about the money, you know that. Listen, everything has a price, right? So, the more influence and consolidation we have, the more we can protect each other.”

Trump Loyalist Admits Grand Jury Never Saw Final Comey Indictment
Grand jurors have to vote on indictments to approve them, but a prosecutor told the judge in the case that only the foreperson formally approved the second charging document, a move that could cripple the case.
No guarantees in this game, but i think the crypto bull is finally here.
Crypto has been in a bear market since 2022, except for BTC and a some outliners. QT is ending. And a great sign today….giga (memecoin) reversed a year long downtrend. Doubled from its lows…
Nothing is for sure, but that’s a strong sign for me.
“rag Maureen Comey and all of the FBI agents who were involved in the raids and the cases in front of congress and force them to testify.”
For what exactly, doing their jobs and securing convictions. I think you forget it was the current AG Bondi with the sweetheart deals.

Yet its siting on his desk and will probably remain there unsigned.

Is everyone still getting 3 years out of their car batteries? My new car battery will be 2 years old in Jan and I’m getting a little hesitation when starting the car on these first cold mornings; not confident what I’m going to get when we start to get frigid cold. Is anyone swapping out their battery before year 3?
Fab- Why drag them in front of congress? Because we want answers. Women were trafficked by Epstein and Maxwell. Why did Merrick Garland and the Biden Administration including lead prosecutor Maureen Comey not secure indictments and prosecutions against these people? I can easily think of the current Prince of England’s disgraced brother Andrew, that should have been a slam dunk.
They’re not gonna release the files in any manner that’s going to implicate anyone. When will you all learn?
Smalls. I find the big expensive batteries suck. I got five years pretty much to the day from my last three Walmart Everstart batteries. Nothing fancy. Dirt cheap. Always work well. I tried a fancy new Diehard about ten years ago and it barely made three years. And cost double. Interstate are good too but more expensive. Trust me. Go with the Walmart battery.
Car Batteries. I just picked up an “AGM” battery from interstate at Costco.
Here are some facts about that new technology:
AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) batteries are a type of maintenance-free, spill-proof lead-acid battery that performs better than standard batteries, offering faster charging, higher power output, and better vibration resistance. However, they are significantly more expensive and sensitive to overcharging. Normal (flooded) batteries are a traditional, cheaper option that requires regular maintenance, but they can be more susceptible to damage from vibration and require more frequent charging.
Jeffrey Epstein, who was charged by the Trump Justice Department in 2019 (Not the Democrats!), was a lifelong Democrat, donated Thousands of Dollars to Democrat Politicians, and was deeply associated with many well-known Democrat figures, such as Bill Clinton (who traveled on his plane 26 times), Larry Summers (who just resigned from many Boards, including Harvard), Sleazebag Political Activist Reid Hoffman, Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (who asked Epstein to donate to his Campaign AFTER Epstein was charged), Democrat Congresswoman Stacey Plaskett, and many more. Perhaps the truth about these Democrats, and their associations with Jeffrey Epstein, will soon be revealed, because I HAVE JUST SIGNED THE BILL TO RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES! As everyone knows, I asked Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, and Senate Majority Leader John Thune, to pass this Bill in the House and Senate, respectively. Because of this request, the votes were almost unanimous in favor of passage. At my direction, the Department of Justice has already turned over close to fifty thousand pages of documents to Congress. Do not forget — The Biden Administration did not turn over a SINGLE file or page related to Democrat Epstein, nor did they ever even speak about him. Democrats have used the “Epstein” issue, which affects them far more than the Republican Party, in order to try and distract from our AMAZING Victories, including THE GREAT BIG BEAUTIFUL TAX CUT BILL, Strong Borders, No Men in Women’s Sports or Transgender for Everyone, ending DEI, stopping Biden’s Record Setting Inflation, lowering Prices, Biggest Tax and Regulation Cuts in History, ending EIGHT Wars, rebuilding our Military, knocking out Iran’s Nuclear capability, getting Trillions of Dollars INVESTED in the U.S.A., creating the “HOTTEST” Country anywhere in the World, and even delivering a HUGE DEFEAT to the Democrats on the recent Shutdown Disaster. For years our Great Nation has had to endure RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA, UKRAINE, UKRAINE, UKRAINE, IMPEACHMENT HOAX #1, IMPEACHMENT HOAX #2, and many other Democrat created Witch Hunts and Scams, all of which have been so terrible and divisive for our Country, and have been done to confuse, deflect, and distract from the GREAT JOB that Republicans, and the Trump Administration, are doing. This latest Hoax will backfire on the Democrats just as all of the rest have! Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
Thank you for your attention to this matter
AGM isn’t new.
AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) batteries have been around for nearly 50 years, with their development beginning in the late 1960s by engineers John Devitt and David McClelland at the Gates Rubber Company.
Been available for cars since the early 1990’s
I guess “new’ is subjective, as in new to somebody.

Interesting note when reading up on AGM batteries; this is my recent experience…
“Standard car batteries can’t keep up with the backup cameras, Bluetooth connections, touch screens and other electronics.”
Agree. Got 6 years so far out of a 1 year Walmart battery.
But AGM has a need.
If you have a car where the battery must be inside the car, some have them in the passenger compartment, behind the front seats in the floorboard, or in the hatchback. Can’t do lead acid there, so gotta pony up and pay. Many cars now have 2 batteries as well. Stop and Start technology sometimes requires them. What they are not, is new. Optima Batteries, yellow and red, been around for 30 years.

“Fahrvergnügen,” which Volkswagen used as a slogan in a 1990 U.S. advertising campaign.
The word translates roughly to “driving pleasure”
I guess the “pain” of paying for the dealer to program your battery turns into the pleasure once you finally get to drive the hunk of crap.
No way I would every buy one of these:
2019 GTI. VW dealership is telling me that if I buy a battery anywhere else, it will die soon. A new battery must be installed at the dealership so they can program it. Is this true?
t’s true. The car charges batteries differently as they age. Get OBDeleven or another scan tool and program it yourself.
Can’t do it anymore without paying for the subscription plan unfortunately
ohhhhhh yeah didnt they discontinue the “pro” plan that was a 1-time cost?
Yep. Glad we got in years ago.
I went to O’Reilly’s for a new battery when mine died. They were happy to sell me a new one, but said they would not help me install it because the computer needed to be reset after putting a new one in.
If you have the start/stop feature (2018+ SE models) you’ll have to pay to have it reprogrammed. Went through this today it was quite expensive.
This is what will be released…we won’t be getting copies of those computer drives…

Pro tip
Don’t use a 3d printed dildo. They can break into pieces and are difficult for professionals to remove.
Buy commercially and stay safe.
The more you know. 🌠🌠🌠
So Trump did in fact sign the bill. There is language in the bill that prohibits the DOJ from redacting any information that may cause employees, reputational harm, or politically sensitive. This should be interesting.
Just changed the battery on my mothers’s 2011 Honda civic. $112.00 with tax and battery exchange. Hardest part was finding my long 10 mm socket to remove the hold-down bolts that secure the battery’s support bar. Socket was MIA so I gave up looking in my tool bag and went with the 10 mm box wrench.
Took all of 10 minutes including cleaning the junk out of the battery enclosure. No need or desire to pay double the price for an AGM battery that might last a year longer on a car that is barely driven, only 45,000 miles.
Did you put a panic on top of each battery terminal?
D, Trump was pretty much a democrat until 2015.
Lib – you mean those red and green felt pads anti-corrosion washers? This is not my first rodeo, I even gave the terminal a mild scrub.
Lib: Trump changed his party affiliation to Republican in 2009. He had changed to Democratic in 2001, and then switched back. I don’t think he was really anything but a self absorbed NY celebrity back in the day.
And for the conspiracy folks out there remember Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland said two years ago there was nothing in the files about Trump. No hard evidence or witness interviews.
Merrick Garland was out to get Trump too..appointed a special prosecutor and went to town. Let’s not forget that part either.
8:50 noted…:) mine will sit in the trunk “interior” compartment and “.yes” I’ll put those little felt things on the terminals. Recently hooked a radar detector up and it “read” low battery. Starts have been “slow”… just replaced the starter. Orig. unit replaced (150k miles) from 2002.

What profession has the biggest gap between how they see themselves and how they’re seen by society as a whole?
Realtors
Agreed 100%.
Quick anecdote: many years ago, I worked as a front desk agent at a very large conference hotel in a major US city. The hotel used to hold an annual conference for the National Association of Realtors. It was the single worst conference, every year, without fail. We all absolutely hated working it.
These people are all well-travelled, and were thus high ranking members of our member rewards program. Usually, that would mean a complimentary room upgrade if one was available. Except, there were about 800 of these people. It was a big hotel, around 1,300 rooms, but we absolutely did not have 800 suites. The number was more like 75. But every single one of those entitled assholes would scream at us for not getting an upgrade at check in, not having the best view in the hotel, etc.
They all think the world revolves around them, and we all thought they were entitled asshole parasites. I’d say that’s a pretty big gap.
Omg I literally just got back home from working that conference (I’m not a real estate agent). It’s the most exhausting week of the year for me for like 100 reasons.
Hah, a fellow traveler! Quick Google tells me it was in Houston this year. I worked at a hotel in DC, we hosted them at least twice while I worked there, if I remember. Such a brutal, annoying week. Stay strong and know that a random redditor commiserates with you.
I used to work for NAR. What an insufferable group of assholes.

Trump Approves the Release of the Epstein Files, but Loopholes Remain.
The president sought to take credit for the legislation, despite months of pressure to kill it. The bill has significant exceptions that could mean many documents would stay confidential.

Mr. Trump’s signature does not guarantee the release of all the files. The bill contains significant exceptions, including a provision protecting continuing investigations, which could mean many documents would stay confidential.
Bondi had declared the investigation closed.
Investigation is reopened now to keep the coverup
No unemployment numbers this time.

Pressure is mounting on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to take stronger action to show accountability in the face of a corruption scandal presenting the greatest threat to his government since Russia’s full-scale invasion.
Last week, Zelenskyy dismissed two top officials and imposed sanctions on close associates after government investigators revealed that $100 million had been embezzled from the energy sector through kickbacks paid by contractors.
But that hasn’t quieted the political storm. After more than three years of war in which Ukrainians face regular power outages as a result of Russia’s fierce bombardment, allegations of corruption in the energy sector aren’t sitting well with the public. Calls are growing for Zelenskyy to remove his longtime chief of staff, Andrii Yermak, considered by many to be Ukraine’s de facto vice president.
Zelenskyy’s term officially ended in May 2024, but he has continued to govern without elections, saying they cannot be held while Russia is occupying a fifth of the country.
Please, please.
Say it isn’t so.

A staffer for a GOP Congressman was discovered crying and bound by zip ties inside a New Jersey nature reserve with the words ‘Trump wh—‘ written on her stomach and cuts across her face, neck, chest and shoulders.
Natalie Greene, 26, had frantically dialed 911 in July 2025 from a walking trail after she said three men attacked her, one brandishing a firearm, and threatened to shoot her while mentioning her boss’s name.
She said the attack took place after she received threats while working at the congressional office for New Jersey Republican Representative Jeff Van Drew.
But after the FBI questioned her, Greene’s dramatic story began to unravel, resulting in the young staffer being charged with making false statements after she was accused of faking the attack on herself.
But it is true.
I can’t. I’m beside myself.
Oh, the horror!!
A former New Jersey GOP aide allegedly paid a fetish artist to mutilate her body, had an accomplice scrawl “Trump Whore” on her stomach, and then falsely claimed she was violently attacked in what federal prosecutors said was a staged political stunt, according to shocking new court documents.
