I was just looking through the MLS and noticed a bunch of “just listed” homes that have been on the market for months with different RE agencies, or possibly contracts expired. It is completely insane that realtors can claim this is a “new” listing. I still don’t see any drastic price reductions at this point.

Your observations are correct! Labor Day starts a new cycle of buyers and you should see an increase in inventory. It’s always a “good thing” to have a fresh listing ready for these buyers.

In actuality, it’s dressing up the pig.

    Happy house hunting!

    Oink!

All part of the realtor “code of ethics.”
