    But…you’re in New Jersey

Interesting list, lots to ponder. Dumont, Wharton and Haledon are not towns that are usually discussed here but it just shows that folks are looking for compromise and bargains. The Bergen County list demonstrates the barbell effect more so than the others, more wealth at the top and 1st time, younger families at number 5. Passaic County is more evenly distributed and I wouldn’t be shocked if Paterson and/or Passaic entered the fray in a few years.

A friend of mine lives in Ridgewood. Great town. I‘ll never live in NJ again as I think the prices and nanny state mentality are both out of control, but I do like to visit Ridgewood. Reminds me something out of a 1950s Hollywood movie.

When you enter the boundaries of Ridgewood, you’re automatically transformed into a Ford Crestliner, sporting a tweed jacket, Trilby hat and Danish pipe.

Fast: Surprised to see Dumont on the list too. At one time some people would sneer at Dumont, commercial district run down, and the schools not blue ribbony it was lumped together with Bergenfield and New Milford, with New Milford being considered the best of the 3.

Ridgewood is a great town, and one that deserves its reputation. It’s a quiet wealth. The town center is nice, but parking is an issue. The restaurant seem to come and go.

  8. BRT says:

Was in Dumont last year. Noticed the downtown changed quite a bit. Wasn’t very attractive to me. Ridgewood is obviously a town that has preserved itself and it’s character.

  9. Fast Eddie says:

Ridgewood deserves a certain brand of muppet and Ridgewood only wants a specific brand of muppet. If you don’t fit the description, don’t even bother applying. Look to more sanctuary-like communities like Irvington, Elizabeth and Union Beach. Ridgewood, Wyckoff and the like need to preserve an image. Remember, perception is reality!

  10. Very Stable Genius says:

NJ is very expensive but NJ maga will never move to Maga controlled territories in the south.
NJ maga loves the high quality of life in Blue America

  11. Very Stable Genius says:

Oklahoma, Alabama, Dakota, Arkansas, NJ Maga will never move there

Expensive Nj is very much worth it

  12. Fast Eddie says:

I await the day when the leftists on this board can actually be creative in their trolling. If they were artists, their pallet would contain one color: brown. And they would paint wearing brown loafers, eating peanut butter with a teaspoon in between drab strokes of dead trees.

  13. BRT says:

From what I understand, it was very difficult to get into Ridgewood Country Club.

When was the last time you heard of an American company completing ANYTHING ahead of schedule? Or for the price it had originally stated?

Germany, enjoy your expensive American compressed natural gas. Stay warm while you look at all of those thousands of cars no one is buying from your factories as your neighbors are all being furloghed and your government is being rocked to the core.

The Chinese are enjoying the warm Russian gas that you were getting cheap, too bad your friends suggested you dump them. F’n fools. America used you like a cheap condom and you are now under the freeway overpass shriveled up with dried American DNA. Oh, and enjoy your next new leader, who wants more money for defense from you.

    Stay Frosty!

SINGAPORE, Dec 2 (Reuters) – China has built and connected the 5,111-km (3,175-mile) Power-of-Siberia pipeline to deliver gas from Russia’s Siberian fields to users as far as the financial hub of Shanghai, Chinese state media reported on Monday.
The completion will allow the project to reach its full annual designed capacity of 38 billion cubic meters in 2025, roughly 9% of China’s consumption this year.
Chinese builders added the last section, a 167-km line from Nantong to Luzhi in the eastern province of Jiangsu, around mid-November, completing the massive project seven months ahead of schedule.

Give me a break. A repressive and centrally controlled government that dominates the legislative and judicial branches of government. Has no municipal voices. Just go from point A to B. No questions asked.

    Phoenix,
You are correct that Germany is in a world of hurt. I think 2025 is going to be a very bad year. A big problem is that Germany is the economic power house of the EU. That engine is slowing down. There is currently a rapidly aging population and a lack of skilled workers. The political problems are also apparent. Friedrich Merz will likely be the next chancellor but he will be in a very weakened leadership position against Donald Trump and others within the EU.

    Phoenix,

Chicago is very right. Closest thing we ever had able to do anything close to decide, design and send the bulldozers in, was this gentlemen. If NJ had someone like him, getting to upper Sussex County would be 1hr+ ride and the shore would have been up/down State Parks without all those whiny little towns doing their best to irritate the public and keeping them from the beach.

Woman burned to death on the NYC subway — by one of Joe’s illegal aliens? The stooges can add this to his list of ‘accomplishments’. A person literally has to be mentally ill to support the modern Dem party.
