Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba BOYCOTT HOUSES!
Booooooooyaaaaaa!
Bob
How’s this for realtor/seller bravado:
MLS 2225939
Date Listed: Dec 12, 2005
Original Price: $7,650,000
Current Price: $8,250,000
This is also the SECOND listing, it was originally listed last year. No takers.
So if a house doesn’t sell in 11 months at $7.6M, the smart move is to raise the price $600K to $8.25M. That will teach those silly buyers, they should have bought last year @ $7.6M, and now they have missed their opportunity, because real estate only goes up every year.
Predicted closing price: under $4.5M, in 8-12 months.

That was the Joe Piscopo routine on SNL with chemical worker. He specifically said exit 9 but he was referring to the NJTPK (which is actually in East Brunswick my home town). How do I know this? Because in the sketch was done in the 80’s and in the 90’s DOT renumbered the I-287 exits, 10 was formerly 6, I think.

The best Joe Piscopo movie ever:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0092226/
Directed by Brian DePalma, too, and it involves a great scene on the NJ Turnpike.
And, let’s not forget the opening scenes from the Sopranos showing in not contiguous order sights/landmarks seen from the Turnpike. Since when does the Pulaski Skyway come before the oil storage tanks near Carteret?
