*Soft landing – mkt melts up
*Right wingers in here will condemn universities antisemitism while conveniently ignoring Trumps Hitler rhetoric
*Several large commercial real estate developers go bankrupt

I predict I’m the first on the board to catch Covid this year.

I’m cheating. Tested positive this morning.

  4. Chicago says:

In 2024. Crimson end season with only one win. Problem is that win came against the Red at Lynah. Red end up out of Frozen Four because that Crimson loss kills their Pairwise ranking and Q’Pac wins the ECAC tournament.

  5. Phoenix says:

Happy New Year (from Mayor Eric Adams) Hehe

Buses filled with migrants have been dropped off at New Jersey train stations in an attempt to bypass New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ executive order that has limited bus arrivals from Texas.

Around 10 buses dropped off passengers from Texas and Louisiana at train stations throughout the Garden State including stations in Secaucus, Trenton, Fanwood and Edison on Sunday.

Secaucus Mayor Michael Gonnelli said that police and town officials had been told by Hudson County officials about the arrival of buses at the train station in Secaucus Junction that started on Saturday.

He went on to say that four buses were believed to have arrived and dropped off migrants who then took trains into New York City and that Adams’ order may be ‘too stringent’ and has resulted in ‘unexpected consequences.’

‘It seems quite clear the bus operators are finding a way to thwart the requirements of the executive order by dropping migrants at the train station in Secaucus and having them continue to their final destination,’ the New Jersey Mayor said in a statement.

  6. Phoenix says:

Jeffrey Epstein had information that could bring down Big Pharma, the government, corporations and Hollywood.

He was murdered to protect the establishment.

    Everyone knows it.

He facilitated child trafficking like never seen in modern history.

    Expose it all.

  7. LAX says:

Talking with the ol’ man this week during a rare trip to NC. He seems convinced that the Supreme Court will find a loophole and somehow keep Donald on the ticket.

The big question is what the loophole will be and if that’s something that sends people protesting in the streets.

I predict a rough year for California as it swings to a budget deficit and Mother Nature has her way with the coastlines & faultlines.

  8. Phoenix says:

    Netflix.
Leave the world behind. Interesting movie.

  9. Chad Powers says:

I predict the Deep State, entrenched bureaucracy, whatever you want to call it will have a huge October Surprise for Trump. What will the surprise be? Who knows? The thing is it will be big. They have already thrown the kitchen sink at him, so whatever it is will be really big.

Economically the middle class will continue to rack up credit card debt just to pay their monthly living expenses. No amount of bragging about Bidenomics will get the public to believe that they were better off 4 years ago.

Ukraine- Support in the west will continue to dwindle as the public sees little to no results for their hard earned tax dollars going to waste. More stories will surface about corruption in the government. The Ukraine will be forced to come to a negotiated settlement ceding some territory in the east. Putin will remain in power after Biden leaves office.

I will visit Valencia, Spain. Ok, I admit I already have plane tickets but I still have to get there.

  10. RentL0rd says:

Predictions – Privileged white and brown dudes will continue to bash Biden’s policies while directly benefiting from the country’s success under his leadership.

AI will get its Napster moment and face legal challenges. FANG stocks will normalize.

Healthcare industry will outperform other sectors

  11. LAX says:

I think the incompetency of Merrick Garland and his ill-timed prosecution of Trump will be a major stumbling block. New York will dissipate his Empire. But Trump’s super power is energizing the opposition to vote against him. So there is that.

  12. Fast Eddie says:

    Predictions:

Progressives begin to claim that food is rac1st since the production class are the only ones that can afford it.

The O’Biden administration breaks ground for a 10-lane Interstate Highway from Panama City to Corpus Christi, Texas to allow illegals swift entrance to the U.S. Funds are raised by punishing taxing small businesses owners.

House tour guides begin to market homes with designer dirt in order to justify the high prices. Progressives respond that it’s ‘privileged’ dirt and deemed rac1st against people of color.

Avocado toast becomes currency… since it’s green and Gen-Z feels good that they invented something… sort of.

  13. BRT says:

They haven’t gone the food is racist route. They try to connect food to planetary destruction.

    2024

    Politics

Though Biden is actually doing a pretty decent job with our economy, he deserves little credit due to the massive deficit spending it is costing us. Like everyone before him dating back to 2000, once in the White House, all of the campaign promises for fiscal conservativity go right out the window. On the bright side, he is doing a lot of infrastructure spending in the Blue states which most of us live in. Somehow, the country is managing to absorb 10K immigrants a day which is a good thing. This will put us in a great position to succeed in the not so distant future as American families (and those in most industrialized nations) are producing less and less future workers. I am happy we are supporting the Ukraine, Israel and got the F out of Afghanistan. Lowest unemployment in 50 years (especially for blacks). Gas prices and inflation fixed. Soft Landing, etc. Of course, he can no longer speak, so it’s going to be difficult for him to defend himself from the lies from the right. None the less, he will get reelected, almost entirely due to the SCOTUS decision to overturn RvW. Shortly after the election and now since he is irrelevant, Trump will be found guilty of treason in the insurrection and election improprieties in Georgia and will plea no more politics in exchange for no prison time. His followers will then latch on to the next conservative gameshow host. Probably, Drew Carey.

    Real Estate

Same old, same old for the most part. Though the mortgage rates will drop with the FED interest rate cuts, initially prices will increase as those who waited for lower interest rates will drive up the housing prices though inventory will increase as those trapped waiting for lower mortgage rates to move now will. Maybe, towards the end of the year, prices will reach an equilibrium with demand, but I doubt it as the refinancing fever will again cause housing havoc as everyone who bought a house last year will refinance and will feel rich and brilliant.

    Economy

Best year in a decade coming. Since 1952, there have only been three negative markets. Tech bubble bursting in 2000, Financial Crisis in 2008 and of course, the pandemic in 2020. With the bad years factored in, the return is almost 12%. I’m calling for a 30-35% gain, based on the interest rate cuts, and unknown stimulus which surely Biden will send our way to get reelected.

    Pumpkin

Is forced into divorce once his wife finds this site and asks to see their portfolio statements. She’s the lucky one as his time to post here increases three-fold.

    Phoenix

Gets into a six-way orgy with the Filipino nursing staff and must pay them off in designer shoes to keep them quiet.

    Grim

After failing to launch his wine cooler line, Silk City partners with neighboring Rutt’s Hut to produce hot-dog infused whiskey. Burner Bourbon becomes so successful that Grim stars in his first streaming ad promoting the benefits of his hot dog hooch and it’s propensity to put hair on your chest.

    3B/Juice

The two partner to write an op-ed to the Wall Street Journal pleaing for the FED to do the right thing and maintain FED lending rates at their current level. Unsurprisingly, it does not get published.

    LAX

While volunteering at a soup kitchen to help feed the growing numbers of homeless in Cali, a recent border crosser asks him for a knife to go with his soup spoon and stabs him with it and then finished his minestrone. LAX moves to Arizona with the rest of Northern California and becomes ARX on the blog.

    ChiFi

After his landlord of 23 years dies of an aneurysm, his heirs decide to immediately sell their below market rental. Chifi finally moves into Bell Works and gains fifty pounds from his units proximity to Jersey Freeze.

    HMB

Fights off Covid like a champ but contracts a rare disease from undercooked beans which gives him a month of explosive bowel movements. His only saving grace being his recent bout of Covid destroyed his sense of smell. His wife moves into the mower shed for the year.

    Leftwing

  15. AIInfused Magic8Ball Says says:

I agree with Chad that there might be a surprise that takes out Trump.

But I see it coming not from a “deep state” conspiracy angle but just as action, even suicidal action from truly patriotic Constitution loving people.

Whether you spent your career in the military or government service where you swore to the Constitution.

Whether your family arrived as Puritans from England.

Whether you are a first generation immigrant that became a citizen and the reason you are here is because you left a dictatorship and now you are thinking “Not Again, I got to do something for the future of my kids”.

The odds are likely that something will happen. Large, small, planned, random, lone wolf, team effort, with escape plan or suicidal, successful or failed. I’ll hate to be in his Secret Service protection team.

If Trump makes it to the presidency. I predict the financial markets with all the pressure built up with the BRICS+ will make forceful decisions where money flees the US and that will take out the power of the global USD as the reality settles in that the USA is now a banana republic. Even when he’s gone and if we go back to what we were, the USD premium and power will be gone for good. So yeah, that is where billionaires are going to really have to pay taxes or the social safety net – if any is left will collapse.

  16. Fast Eddie says:

They haven’t gone the food is racist route. They try to connect food to planetary destruction.

Hmmm… so I guess we can see the rise of the food speakeasy to go along with bumper stickers that say, “Save the Planet, Starve A Human!”

  17. leftwing says:

“Talking with the ol’ man this week during a rare trip to NC. He seems convinced that the Supreme Court will find a loophole and somehow keep Donald on the ticket.”

Why would such a finding be a ‘loophole’ unless one’s mind is already made up?

In which case, is that nothing more than one’s political opinion?

  18. LAX says:

    Everything is an opinion.

Did those waves come high enough yet to wash the liberals into the Pacific?

  26. BRT says:

Somehow, the country is managing to absorb 10K immigrants a day which is a good thing.

I wouldn’t call it a success. Texas reached their breaking point and took action. Now the cities have reached their breaking point and trying to stop them. You haven’t seen the affects yet. Right now, it looks like we just transform all the cities into South America. This is a hot water traveling through the pipes. We don’t know if we’ll get burned yet.

  27. BRT says:

You could drive down the cost of labor just as well by eliminating dozens of 3 letter agencies and suddenly you have millions of domestic employees looking for real jobs without all the external headaches.

  28. leftwing says:

In other news, may have found a use for Cathie Wood, right down her power alley of lack of risk management and organizational incompetence….

On Wednesday she bought 4.3 million shares of BITO. That single trade was 4.9% of her fund size.

She has never come close to that size purchase. I can’t recall a trade that represented over 1%.

Guess it wouldn’t have anything to do with her having an open filing with the SEC to start a bitcoin spot ETF, right? Not like she would front-run SEC comments or discussions on these matters….

No, this would create more headaches. Most of them haven’t worked in years. They have been spoon fed by the government and don’t know any better. It would be like taking a domesticated declawed housecat and sending it into the jungle.

  30. Phoenix says:

Amerikans are the most privileged, undoubtedly rich and full of opportunities – better off than any previous time in history. Yet, they are also the most scared, fearful, apocalyptic population.

This is only going to continue in 2024, and regardless of who gets elected ( Trump will lose even if he gets on the ballots), America will continue its dominance in the world.

Nobody ever won betting against America.

  32. leftwing says:

“Do you really think out of the 300M+ people, all of them are going to accept the new King Orange SwampAss Ceaser?”

Hmmmmm…the more interesting numerical question may be how the large plurality of US citizens that would cause DJT to be elected President today if the election were held would feel if a minority of wackos who can’t handle another man’s mere existence remove him from the ballot.

And how many guns each of those cohorts has, and their willingness to use them…

  33. Phoenix says:

Yellen loves to scheme. She claims it’s illegal, but just like everything in American law, there is a way around it with enough money. Trump will find a way out as well.

  40. Juice Box says:

Magic8Ball re: – We lose Dollar Hegemony over one President with a 4-year term? You think our trading partners really care who is President? They all know our system and take full advantage of it. You don’t see a Middle Eastern oil and gas producers protecting the worldwide shipping lanes for their tankers or massive container ships with other goods. Those Danish Maersk ships traversing the Red Sea to the Suez Canal they are full of good made in Asia. They Asian countries are happy to delegate to the US Navy the responsibility of sinking small speedboats off the coast of Somalia or Yemen. They never stood a chance against our military.

It much easier to argue we squandered 1/2 a century of our dominance while Joe Biden was Senator, VP and now President. Just so you know 60 percent of global foreign exchange reserves a US dollars, with the euro a distant second at around 20 percent. Approx 90 percent of transactions in foreign exchange markets are in US dollars, as is half of international trade.

My prediction is we remain the Worlds Reserve currency in 2024 and 2025 no matter who is President out of the cast of rejects that are running now or the incumbent grandpa.

  41. TraitorJoe says:

I think the mid term consequence, which the left wants, of this world Revolution will be a collapse of our health care system. The costs are rising so far it wasn’t sustainable and 10 million people and counting were just added without coverage.

  42. Chad Powers says:

Reference the 10,000 illegals a day coming over the southern US border, the vast majority of these individuals are not assimilating into society. You may also notice there is a noticeable increase in crime. The vast majority of these people are not skilled laborers. With many states giving these illegals free health care, drivers licenses, housing, etc, they are taking more than they put into the system.

  43. AIInfused Magic8Ball Says says:

    Juice,

You forget, is not just the currency. Is the legal system that is attached to the currency.

International business contracts are settled out of the US Federal court at Southern District of NY in Foley Square or in London Crown Court, because the legal systems are impartial and fair and the rule of law is at is best.

China’s Belt and Road initiative forces counter parties to use Beijing courts. Russia’s economic agreement with former Soviet Republics uses Moscow courts.

Well if you got a Caesar Orange SwampAss government and courts. How corrupt? How much integrity they are going to have?

Look at the pressure coming from BRICS+. All of them are non-US friendly and would love to have a piece of the legal and currency action.

B- Brasil’s Lula. Russia- Putin. India was forcing trading partners to use the Rupee but they balked. China – Xi. South Africa – commodities and one party corrupt government.

Again they are not at our level, but Caesaer Orange SwampAss will make us go down to their level to the point we lose our perceived integrity value in the marketplace.

  44. TraitorJoe says:

Of course but the left decided that the working class was no longer politically reliable so they decided to replace them. They should have been grateful for the crumbs they threw your west while your job was sent to China or Mexico.

  45. Fast Eddie says:

“California is ushering in 2024 with free healthcare for more than 700,000 migrants living illegally in the Golden State as the state is faced with a looming $68 billion deficit.

The program will provide health insurance for approximately 700,000 illegal immigrant residents aged 26-49.

The program will begin on Jan. 1, 2024 and will provide more illegal immigrants with health insurance under the state’s Medi-Cal coverage.”

    Any questions?

  46. AIInfused Magic8Ball Says says:

    TraitorJoe,

Healthcare cost are rising because is all about profit. Look up stock performance of United Health, Aetna CVS, Cigna, Humana, Hospital Corporation of America, Anthem and other insurance companies.

Up to 1984 – Health insurance companies had to be non-profits or mutual. Your boy Reagan signed the law that allowed companies to become for-profit. Anthem is an amalgamation of Blue Cross and Blue Shield Associations that became for profit, including Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield of NY. Horizon tried to go for profit about under Christie but NJ’s legislature opposed it as State of NJ has 40% of Board Votes.

Healthcare is the lowest fruit for profits that why is so profitable. All you got to do is reduce, complicate, and confuse access to it. Sort of trying to close your Sirus XM, Spectrum, AOL, Vonage accounts.

  47. AIInfused Magic8Ball Says says:

    Fast Eddie,

It will be cheap for CA, The under 50 crowd tends not to be expensive, except for the odd catastrophic events. Over 50 is were you get expensive. Over 60 gets really expensive, that is why most people that don’t have any health insurance are usually in their late 50’s and early 60’s.

If I’m an insurance actuary. I’ll take a 30 yrs old mexican immigrant bike delivery guy in CA, over a 30 yrs Walmart employee in Mississippi.

  48. TraitorJoe says:

Health insurance and health care are not synonymous. Hospitals will be the first casualty.

60 yrs ago you were right. But now they are the same. Is not what it used to be. Now is what does the medical history chart + complaint + medical evidence = highest index of suspicion issue to be confirmed with testing which requires Borg participation.

Just take a look at Hackensack Meridian + RWJ Barnabas + Horizon BCBS = Braven Health Medicare. Your coverage is great as long as you are part of the Big Boys’ Borg community.

Independent doctors are becoming far and few in between. They are mostly salaried employees of one of the big boys’ group now. If you want an independent doctor, if they are young they will either not accept insurance, if they are old, they are running at a loss and have their own money or are laundering money.

“You may also notice there is a noticeable increase in crime.”

Every study of this issue shows that immigrants (both legal and illegal) are less likely to commit crimes than the native born. In any event, crime rates (especially murder) declined in 2023, despite the massive increase in illegal immigration and asylum seekers.

“The vast majority of these people are not skilled laborers.”

True. But neither were my grandparents, and probably not the immigrant grandparents of many who post here. And yet, they did fine. And their kids did even better.

In many cases, the people crossing the border have walked 100’s of miles and faced incredible hardships to get here- all for a chance to make a better life for themselves and their families. People like that will succeed in the US.

Meanwhile, down in places like West Virginia people are hanging out in their trailers playing video games and doing meth waiting for the coal mine to reopen…

We are moving to some kind of legal system aka Maoist CCP run system where there is no longer strict precedential concept for case law and no principle of stare decisis? All that goes away now because one person became President for a four year term?

Man on man what kind of bogey man will the left think of next? Trump is going to name his son crown prince and immediate successor to the Throne if he get’s elected in November?

re: “The same was said about the Irish, the Italians, the Chinese, the Poles, the Greeks…” Err I beg to differ. Those people came mostly legally.

I will go back to what I have always said. I am all for immigration. This country accepts a million legal immigrants nearly every year. For the last two decades there have been around one million new green cards issued every year. It adds to our diversity and strength every day. It’s actually called the The Diversity Immigrant Visa Program. Others can be sponsored by a family member or current or prospective employer as well as well for green cards.

A million legal immigrants annually. Who does more? Nobody…..

Stop telling us there is no problem at the southern border, people are fed up with it. More needs to be done.

  62. OC1 says:

“Stop telling us there is no problem at the southern border, people are fed up with it. More needs to be done.”

Never said that there wasn’t a problem. But it’s because it’s tough to absorb that many immigrants quickly (especially with all the NIMBYs and racists in the US), not because these immigrants are going to destroy US society.

  63. Juice Box says:

OC1 – Do think that the million or so arriving here legally aren’t enough? We should absorb how many more every year? It’s all pretty easy to just toss the gates open and allow anyone in. What is the magic number and from what countries? Why should Mexicans get a preference to cross the border over say some one from a War zone like Gaza? There are two million there mostly women and children locked in barbed wire box unable to leave ever and experience democracy in anyway as there is a gun to their head from both sides of the conflict. Perhaps evac them all here? Make way for them…

    Juice-

I don’t know the answer to any of your questions. My only point is that the hysteria over all those illegal immigrants and asylum seekers is a bit overblown.

A few years ago I heard an interview with an upstate NY dairy farmer- he was worried that people crossing the border illegally from Mexico were going to attack his family! IMO, that kind of thinking is clearly irrational.

That’s not what Mayor ‘do-nothing’ Adams says: “For many months, we were able to keep the visualization of this crisis from hitting our streets, but we have reached a breaking point and can no longer do that”.

“got the F out of Afghanistan”

Conveniently forgot to mention that the bad guys in Russia and Iran recognized Joe’s disastrous withdrawal as the action of a weak and incompetent appeaser — hence war in Europe and on multiple fronts in the middle east.

    ” inflation fixed”

Nice attempt at gaslighting, but most people share Eddie’s disgust at having to now spend $60 on a run to 7-11 for ginger-ale, ny-quil and few other items.

I just hope that most blue-state stooges follow your lead when escaping broken places like NJ, and go to Costa Rica instead of ruining the still-functional red states.

  80. leftwing says:

And for Lib, 3b and the other “population must grow” proponents.

    Seriously, why?

There is no reason that a populace must grow to raise the standard of living for its current citizens.

In fact, in your own little microcosms, which would you prefer? The dynamics of your hometowns 20-30 years ago, or the dynamics now after ongoing population growth?

I lived, not visited but lived years in each of two countries whose population growth rates over time were just barely above zero and were about one-quarter that of the US. Not fringe countries, each at one time in history was a dominant world power. Their existing citizens were doing just fine. Great quality of life, actually.

The only reason I seem to hear for population growth above replacement plus a small margin is a “must have mooor” grammar school mentality that seems to inflict gluttonous US citizens as a genetic viewpoint.

“More” certainly does not equal “better” for an existing citizenry. In fact, for many instances of activities of daily living like driving, shopping, housing, employment, medical “more” actually degrades quality of life for the current population.

Bergen County circa 1980 or Bergen County circa 2024? Preference?

Give people like Lib some time and distance from their ‘support’ groups and they’ll return to some level of normalcy soon.

As for immigration, I support legal immigration. Letting thousands of people in no questions asked, and no organized process for screening is not the answer.

  86. Libturd says:

I agree too that they should be screened and processed. But neither party seems to want to fund any improvements in immigrant processing. It’s been this way since forever.

Good point and agree. But like any of these schemes they will reconcile (collapse) and righting them sooner rather than later minimizes aggregate damage.

In other words, ‘righting’ the entitlement programs is entirely consistent with replacement population growth.

LOL. Spent some time with my parents down in Florida a bit before christmas, Mom’s 89, dad’s 94. Both in pretty good health.

Aside from “Jeopardy” and “Wheel of Fortune”, it’s Fox News 24/7.

It’s kind of sad, actually- they both have a serious case of “Fox New Syndrome” and they’ve become very angry people. They should be enjoying the few years they have left, instead they’re OUTRAGED! over stupid crap like Hunter’s laptop and some stupid stuff the president of Harvard said.

And they are pissed about the border- despite the fact that my fathers father was also an illegal immigrant (from Italy).

But seriously Left, was there anything factually innacurate in what I said about assimilation, crime, or the success of unskilled immigrants in America??

  93. BRT says:

There’s a whole laundry list of why people aren’t having kids anymore….one of the biggest reason is their inadequate wage. I’m sure driving it down with illegal immigration is going to help that. This isn’t our grandfather’s country anymore. There was land all around and plenty of space for people to grab their slice of the pie. It was beneficial then. It’s not now. No countries that are doing this are showing signs of benefit.

  94. 3b says:

Oc1: I don’t question the work ethic of many of the illegal immigrants that come here just like the work ethic of the immigrants of old. I do question how much unskilled work will be available for them and for how long, as in going out 10, 20 years or more. I also question if we as a country can afford all the costs that are associated with unlimited, unregulated immigration. Comparing the reality of immigration today with the immigrants of 50, 100, or 150 years ago makes no sense. It’s simply a different world.
As for Fox News you are right, no arguments there, but can you not say the same thing about CNN and MSNBC?

Also, was reducing US forces in Afghanistan from 13,000 to 2,2oo, and releasing 5,000 Taliban prisoners “the action of a weak and incompetent appeaser”, or something else?

  97. grim says:

I feel like this estimate is far too high. 350,000 NJ workers were at, or within $1, of the 2023 minimum wage? 18%?

New year brings new minimum wage for NJ workers

The New Year is not the only thing New Jerseyans are cheering for Tuesday. Jan. 1 also brought a raise in the state’s minimum wage, increasing it to $15.13 per hour for an estimated 350,000 workers across the state.

  98. grim says:

$360 million in additional payroll in 2024, and that doesn’t take into account raises for the more tenured employees to balance out the $1 increase. Maybe $450-500 million all in?

  99. Juice Box says:

Since we have known her a few boyfriends but none have put a ring on it. She is a very good looking too, and not a head case from what I can tell and I am usually a decent judge of that.

I think the young people today being more educated and having the internet at their fingertips value success first and delay and delay marriage and families. Again the access to information is key, it’s not all Hollywood movies and/or Religion influencing their lives important choices. We are no longer just a town or village of people of similar interests anymore where we know our neighbors and go to church to socialize. People are in many way much much smarter than even people thirty years ago, all due to access to information. Heck I know I am.

  107. 3b says:

Juice: I would say the young have influences/ information today both good and bad. As for kids now vs 25 or 30 years ago, it was a lot easier and cheaper in those days vs now.

  108. Juice Box says:

Phoenix – My cousin had her only child at age 47. She never married and well lives a nice life in NYC working in finance, and has traveled the world more than almost anyone I know. She complains the dad does not pay a thing, but he does take the kid every other week or so. Well they were barely a couple for like two years before she had her kid and he moved on. Women don’t need men when they have a good income and a home. They don’t have to put up with it anymore. Perhaps the school teacher dumped the boyfriends or even said no to a proposal? I would not be surprised.

  109. BRT says:

    Juice,

I’ve known more than a few in that exact scenario. It’s a problem with the guys and the girls. It’s perplexing to me that the guys weren’t lining up. It’s perplexing to me that the girls who are on a set salary scale want to “establish their career”. That being said, most people are blissfully unaware of the stats. If you wait until you are 30, statistics show that there’s a 50% chance you will not have a kid. It’s the collective sum of all factors. There’s a recent book called the De-Population Bomb that details this. I think if most were aware of that, they’d push for it earlier.

  110. Juice Box says:

BRT – “50% chance you will not have a kid”

Nope invitro and freeze it, and heck if you have the money surrogates so you don’t have to experience it either. Too many celeb influencers and women’s magazine stuff talk about it all the time.

  111. Juice Box says:

Heck pretty soon science will have men gestate the baby, and cut it out when it’s fully baked.

  112. 3b says:

BRT: I would say at least in the NYC metro area., they are very few women having children under 30.

  113. BRT says:

Juice, the stat doesn’t say 50% can’t have kids in 30s or early 40s. It’s the end result that 50% of the women who reach age 30 without a kid don’t have one. It’s not just a fertility issue. It’s any number of things. Their appeal drops. They run out of time to find the right guy. Obviously fertility drops but it’s just one of many factors.
