So again other than generalizations made by the other side which you embrace because of your confirmation bias toward them please do share that ‘roadmap’ that apparently exists. Inquiring minds want to know.

I can find quotes from Blacks that all Whites should die…does that mean I should go into hiding?

Also horrible answer to use of proceeds…given he’s had that question no fewer than 100 times in the last two weeks from institutions the fact that he’s still uncomfortable there is not good, ie. the institutions are uncomfortable with his answer which can hurt him. Because, the actual answer is painful, there is no use of the proceeds this is a listing just to give shareholders an exit mechanism….

Again, those are reasons among many others to not hold longer term, they give no indication of the book and how firm the pricing was or how it will perform days after opening…

The 50/30/20 rule has become the 70/25/05 rule. The idea of investing is a foreign language to most. The rudiments of passive investing is easy to learn yet the majority of folks, both young and old, think of it as some sort of mystery. Pick up a ‘Charles Schwab Guide to Investing’ and that’s all you really need. Maybe a ‘Random Walk down Wall Street’ as a supplement as well. Most leave it in the hands of so-called investors and realize too late in the game that a chunk of their gains went towards fees and commissions.

But in line with the current salary requirements above, the younger crowd feels they deserve a certain lifestyle while the older crowd is lower maintenance and requires simpler fare to enjoy life. I would say the older crowd is just a product of the ‘been there, done that’ mentality but splurging for the boomer crowd was a case of beer and a trip to the Jersey Shore whereas today’s youth need to fly to faraway places using multiple credit cards.

Can’t trust a trust fund, or the FBI.

Hundreds of families have been left devastated after a Florida special needs non-profit lost over $100 million held in trusts for their disabled children.

According to the filing, the center found that its founders had loaned themselves the millions – intended for disabled children – over an 11-year span, and never repaid it.

While the missing cash has sent shockwaves through the community, one set of parents, Kimberly and Richard Muszynski, claimed to WFLA they alerted the FBI about the stolen funds over 10 years ago.

  17. Phoenix says:

“When they tell you what they are, believe them. They have a whole plan laid out to subvert the constitution.”

For an individual, yes. A small group, maybe. For a race or country, no.

For Project 2025- You better give a real hard look. A lot of work went into that plan, too much for me not to believe them.

This scares the crap outta me. We don’t plan for a non-profit to be our son’s trust manager, but it will be in the hands of a third party with our older son monitoring it with the power to change managers at whim. Thanks for sharing this story which I will share with my older son. Teenagers don’t always believe what their parents tell them, as most of us know.

The courts are broken. When I was growing up, I remember my crazy super 8th grade US history teacher and Vietnam vet, who went on to be the mayor of East Brunswick praising the SCOTUS for not putting their politics in front of their jobs. I discussed how he taught all of us how to write. Well, he made a really big deal of the SCOTUS remember him saying it was the most important piece of the government because a non-partisan court kept the legislature in check. It also separated us from the kangaroo courts so prevalent in developing nations that kept corrupt leaders in power. Besides my step father, he was probably had the greatest influence over my life. I really need to write him to say thank you.

All they are going to do is to put us on the road to anarchy (Haiti like) to the benefit of China, Russia, Islamist and your usual Pinkie and The Brain I plan to rule the world Corporate Billionaire overlord types.

Leftwing was asking about how it would happen. A few months ago I read about a game based on the Project 2025 ideas. Two of them I remember are:

1- That Trump allows red states National Guards to go and do things in Blue States. How are Blue State Governors? National Guard? State, County & Local Police? Local heavily armed criminal elements going to react? Are the Blue State Guards and Police going to ignore the Governor? Will the Governors stop paychecks and fire people that don’t follow orders?

2- By itself or building on #1. Private militias are deputize to perform duties and they mass slaughter people (immigrants/ghetto minorities/etc)? How are the blue state Governor, Prosecutors, Guard and Police Agencies going to react? How is the local criminal element (Bloods, Crypts, Cartel, etc) going to react as they see themselves being the only people able to protect their kins from right wing violence?.

Finally, as everyone has seen in Ukraine. Technology has changed the game. Cheap customized weaponized drones will make way easy to take out a person or group of persons in stealthy ways and if you see the CV of all these want to be ah0les – few if anything have had active military field experience.

I can foresee a Cartel dropping a grenade in Stephen Miller’s bald head as he’s sunbathing in his backyard.

PS. OrangeTraitor will make his assets confiscation for his illegal activities about politics. So it behooves NY AG James to politically knee cap him. Her assets forfeiture list should be:
1- The 757 Plane (takes out his ability to show off barnstorming)
2- Mar-a-lago ( takes his big fundraising facility and hang out in a red state)
3- Far Hill Gold Course (takes his NY are fundraising venue)
4- Trump Tower, World and NYC properties (self explanatory attack on ego)
Let him keep all the other money losing facilities and properties.

A wealthy NJ town is resisting affordable housing plans. Its defiance could be costly.

Municipal leaders in one of New Jersey’s richest towns are personally risking severe sanctions for pulling out of a plan to build dozens of affordable-housing rental units — just as the state tries to ramp up development.

Millburn Township officials have defied multiple court orders to move forward with development of a 75-unit, 100% affordable housing complex in the heart of their upscale downtown — and last month, the Millburn Township Committee unanimously voted to pull out of the project completely. Advocates involved in the case want the judge to not only strip Millburn officials of their power to control development, but also fine officials personally.

The night Obama won the 2008 election he was in Chicago. Where he was staying was very close to Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam home. Farrakhan’s people which are as paranoid as they come saw the massive increase in police activity and federal agents as he signed that he was going to be raided, as he did not know how physically close he was to the new president elect.

New York Attorney General takes initial step to prepare to seize Trump assets

The New York attorney general’s office has filed judgments in Westchester County, the first indication that the state is preparing to try to seize Donald Trump’s golf course and private estate north of Manhattan, known as Seven Springs.

  82. Fabius Maximus says:

Hunter gets time in the can for the same thing Navarro did, contempt of Congress for not showing.

Hmm again no, he was requested to show, not subpoenaed to show. As to the threat of Subpoena from the last closed door hearing, they never followed through. They also know they would lose as they would have to prove intent not so show. Hunter showed up to that hearing and sat there saying he would testify at the public side of the hearing.

    Navarro told them to GTFO.

Reddit will look good for the next few days as the market makers and underwriters provide support. Give it 5 days and it will crash like Wile e Coyote running off a cliff.

    3B,

Same here. I am in full agreement and too will be voting for NOTA. I read an interesting article, again from a right leaning rag this morning. In short, it said Trump’s undoing will be embracing the January 6th “hostages.” Apparently, the bum rushing of the Capitol is a turn off to the vast majority of the country. But to no one more than the undecideds. Heck, a decent minority exists even along MAGA. Yet Trump continues to embrace them. It’s like his empty election fraud claims. He latches on to something and can’t let go. Even if it hurts him. It does seem to me like his days in the spotlight are numbered. I can’t remember the last time I even saw a Trump bumpersticker or flag. At this point in the election cycle for the the last two elections, Trump mania was running wild even somewhat in these parts. It will be interesting to see what happens with MAGA and especially their congressfolk when they don’t have their carnival barker to tell them what to do. I imagine the election in 2028 is going to be a complete madhouse and for both parties as I doubt Kamala is electable.

  86. Juice Box says:

Fab they are called RICO Charges by the DOJ and it’s called a RICO criminal indictment.

Looks it up…My point is AOC said RICO (like it’s pronounced Puerto Rico or something ) was ‘Not a Crime’

“Excuse me, sir, RICO is not a crime, it is a category. What is the crime?”

Do you know how stupid that sounds?

  87. Hold my beer says:

    Linturd

I no longer see trump flags or bumper stickers in my area. I have to go out into the Texas countryside to see those. There were tons of them around my area the last 2 election cycles.

I’ll need odds for this one but Tucker lol?

Fabs, love you for the entertainment value provided but you and VSG orbit Pluto. Erratically. Makes the looney right look sane in comparison.

“Reddit (grumble) it’s not a long term play though. It’s porn and nerds.”

Are you sure lol, many more of them than us.

  89. Juice Box says:

Fab – Hunter Biden has already defied two valid lawful subpoenas from Congress. He was ordered him to appear for closed-door testimony in mid-December.

He has been playing the subpoena game for months now with his attorney, he agreed to sit in private on February 28th so the called off the contempt hearing. Then he did not show.

Now he is a no show for the Open Hearing too. You get it right? They are trying to drag it out. They lied their asses off and still did not show for either hearing.

Contempt of Congress proceedings are next., they aren’t going to skip it again. He won’t make it to the election.

Lucky for his the DOJ will refuse to prosecute when the criminal referral comes.

  90. 3b says:

If I had to guess I would say a lot more people will choose not to vote in this Presidential election.

  91. Libturd says:

I think between the Dobbs decision and then the J6 fallout, Trump overplayed his cards. Now there is a lot of this year left, so who knows? But all of these legal issues, regardless if it’s a witch hunt or not are going to shine a continuous bad light on MAGA.

I am really curious to see what the Republican Party morphs into next. If they could find someone less crazy than Trump who is a little more mature (not old), more statesmanlike and not hung up on these populist culture war ideals, we might actually get a swamp drainer who might focus on true fiscal policy for a change. The debt keeps on getting scarier and at some point it will break us. I think that day is still at least a decade or two away if we continue to grow the annual deficit at current rates, but eventually it will get here. When that occurs, transvestites, abortions and insider trading by speakers of the house won’t matter much.

  92. leftwing says:

“Reddit will look good for the next few days as the market makers and underwriters provide support.”

    Up 46%?

Market makers and underwriters aren’t providing any support, don’t need to…just divvying up the fees right now among themselves.

Lib, we discussed it a while back…opening of the IPO market is one of the last two dominoes….party on baby….first ALAB which was dismissed as AI hype but now with RDDT this market is seeing blue skies ahead…

  93. Libturd says:

I agree. Things at work are pretty strong and it’s always been my best indicator of the economy. It helps we focus on financial print.

The only noise that I am concerned with isn’t inflation. It’s Commercial Real Estate and apparently the first tranches of collateralized debt obligations are starting to fester. This is what we will have to keep our eyes peeled to IMO.

My investments, slowly and steady, are growing as I knew they would. Remember ADUS, the nursing home specialist? Even they are doing me proud. About the only undervalued names which I am still waiting on are SOFI (not sure wtf is going on with them) and BRO which will depend on a calmer weather year to hit it out of the park.
