Federal layoffs are only matching Tech Companies so far.
“Public disclosures show more than 26,000 federal workers have already been fired, excluding buyouts, according to a research note Wednesday from investment bank Piper Sandler.”
Silicon Valley about 80 tech companies including Meta, Amazon, Microsoft, Workday have laid off about 26,000 since the beginning of the year.
I celebrate the administration’s confronting the parasitic, wasteful, corrupt and hithereto unaccountable federal bureaucracy which has been weaponized against the American people.
The federal government and the deep state does not serve the interests of the average American. Not sure if it even serves the interests of the top 10% of Americans. It might be as small as the top .1%, which equates to something like $30M or $50M household net worth level.
The federal government/work force has gotten way too big. Maybe cutting it back will make it more transparent on what money is being spent on. It seems funds were be used to support ideology and perhaps illegal activities.
Indiscriminately firing workers is not good for those fired or those who remain. Look at the people who Trump is appointing. It’s is overwhelmingly clear it is his own Deep State. Heck, the SCOTUS already is.
Gotta keep DJT and $TRUMP as high as possible. It’s the only thing that matters. Keep an eye on those Tesla and SpaceX subsidies.
The AfD is on it already. It’s already headed south.

Rent – Nuclear powerplants and data centers are expensive.
MSFT is trying to jam Copilot into all of their Office subscriptions. Microsoft 365 Personal well they added $3 a month when you renew now it’s now $12.99 a month. 84 million subscribers to that personal version. That is $3 Billion a year in additional revenue if you don’t opt out. Yes you have to opt out.
Copilot business version is listed at $30 per user per month…..That cost as much as the entire Office 365 E3 subscription of $33.75 without MS Teams. Yes it’s integrated and they index all of your work data for you. Will it do my job? Hardly..it still cannot filter junk email properly. I have another AI system and $$ subscription to do that.
Told my 15 yr old use Replit to create a website he wanted with no coding skills. Windsurf, Cursor are doing a much better job than Copilot. Sorry MSFT they became the laggard again. Amazon will release a system I think NOVA, they also never managed to lead. Pathetic tech leadership. Except AWS, there is no innovation at AMZN.
Never bothered with any subscriptions. I still use Office 2000. I use Igor Pro for spreadsheets from 2001. I still play my mp3s off winamp. I also have never had a streaming service.
I also use old versions of Office to avoid subscriptions. WinAmp? That’s a name I haven’t heard of in a while. I so subscribe to SiriusXM for Stern, but only pay $5 a month and steal my son’s spotify account. Probably going to drop Amazon soon for Walmart +. It’s too expensive and their shipping has gotten bad. Walmart gets it to you same day most of the time and no minimum. They won’t be able to do this if more people find out about them. I am lucky that the grocery delivery is pretty amazing around here. Also same day and free with Plus. In Florida, where Gator Jr. goes to school, it’s unusable.
And in other news, I see Musk thinks he can sell Twitter for what he paid for it. Among it’s diving revenue which can only be offset by continuing to fire workers. I expect his moron supporters will jump on that terrible investment too.
Watch for DJT adds everywhere. It’s the only reason Trump is in it.
Ooh. Trump coin down another 6% to $15. And DJT down again today to $26.50. What’s Trump going to do when they both go to zero? The narcissist is probably too stupid to sell any along the way too.
I don’t pay for MSFT either as I have company subscription and all. I have had Copilot for a while now. It’s just ok.. My kids all use Google with their School provided Chromebooks anyway…My kids may never use MSFT software in their lives.
Vertical AI agents is the next wave…tons of companies developing them now. I am on a project or two as well….The future holds these AI agents and AI robots need to work together and when that happens they might decide to unionize or worse rebel.
Lib – Portnoy has been on a one man mission to expose the meme coin fraudsters out there. He did his own rug pull on $GREED coin he created last week, and then did it again and perhaps again to just show how foolish these coins and these “investors” are.
Eddie has made it home from Atlanta so they’ll be no sprinkling of Chex Mix on his grave. The plane ride to and from was flawless. Three races over two days, cool temps, fun events and surrounded by All-American folks. Men remove hats during the invocation and national anthem with hand over hearts, people say excuse me and there’s no road rage leaving the event.
I haven’t seen any news over the last three days but I understand Germany has the slogan, “Make Germany Great Again” as the AfD party was successful in the election?
And Joy Reid of MSNBC was fired? Was it the over the top fake news and flame-throwing attitude that did it? I mean, beside sucking hard.
And what’s this I read that some people fired by DOGE didn’t even know they were fired for days since they don’t show up anywhere and never open an email? I know this is true because working for a municipality years ago, people would punch in then go shopping, hang out in a coffee shop for an hour or so, drive municipal trucks around or work some side hustle. Not all, but way too many. I left because a) I felt like I was stealing money and b) my brain wasn’t getting any activity on the job.
Ever watch those Nazi rally films. Everyone in perfect sync. That ended well. Nationalism is a good thing, but only when what you are devoted to is actually a good thing. Otherwise, you are pretty much in a cult.
Thanks Juice. Trump coin in the $14s. I wish there had been an easy way to short it. DJT too. It’s so clearly fraudulent. Whatever. The SHOW must go on.
Thanks for the Portnoy link. He is way smarter than people give him credit for. I personally love his antics, but most simply don’t get it.
In the German elections the CDU/CSU came in first with 28.52% of the vote, and the AfD was second with 20.8%. The AfD won’t be part of the new coalition government because the major political parties have promised not to form a government with them. Not sure what the new coalition government will look like right now. They have some weeks to put it together. The problem will be if the new government doesn’t deliver. If that happens then I think the AfD will come in first in the next elections. The economy isn‘t good here. High energy costs since the Ukrainian war started blew the German business model out of the water.
Harris Poll from Harvard is out. Lots of interesting polling data.

So, an email is going out and government workers are asked to provide five bullet points outlining what they’ve done this week. A lot are not even answering which means they’re not even opening emails. The average salary for FED workers is $144,000 per with full benefits. There’s an ocean of abuse that is mind-numbing. This is a long time coming.
I am sure you will find waste in the government and all states need to more accountable with how they spend taxpayer dollars. I completely agree with that.
It’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out. My guess? Trump will tank the economy and hardship will provide an opening for Democrats in two years restoring balance to the legislature.
Police are investigating the violent beating of a man by a group of juveniles that was caught on video in the Carthay neighborhood of Los Angeles over the weekend.
The incident was reported around 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of San Vicente Boulevard and McCarthy Vista when, for unknown reasons, a driver became involved in a dispute with some minors.
The dispute escalated, and the group confronted the man, which led to a physical altercation, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson said on Monday.
Just because they are children and he is an adult doesn’t mean he didn’t deserve it. Haven’t seen the video or the specifics yet though just look at what respecting your elders has gotten you at this point.
The kids were blocking traffic and vandalizing cars including the victim’s car. It’s LA.
If caught those kids will get sentenced to ice cream without hot fudge as their punishment.
Again, let’s see if savings actually occur. And if they do, let’s see where they go. Of course we all believe in shrinking the size of government. Again, doing it all willy nilly might not yield the result we all want. I judge Trump’s value by the worth of DJT and his coin. So far, it’s down biggly since they were released, Trump was elected and post-inauguration. Again, the best thing that could come out of this is if someone sane realizes debt is an issue and smartly grows the economy instead of wrecking it for their personal gain.
If you all weren’t watching, markets are not liking what Trump is doing one bit. The market is forward looking. Surprisingly, even crypto is down.
Lobbyist Grover Norquist is a well-known proponent of the strategy and has famously said, “My goal is to cut government in half in twenty-five years, to get it down to the size where we can drown it in the bathtub.”
Our goal is to inflict pain. It is not good enough to win; it has to be a painful and devastating defeat. We’re sending a message here. It is like when the king would take his opponent’s head and spike it on a pole for everyone to see.
GROVER from the National Review, quoted in The Republican Noise Machine by David Brock, Crown Publishers 2004, pg. 50
Just back from the ortho doc. My son partially dislocated his knee cap in a soccer collision yesterday, x-ray thankfully shows nothing broken, just a knee brace and crutches until he can walk again.
We were playing at Rutgers Prep. Nice field…No so nice tuition.. : $48,815 (2024–25 for grades 9-12)…
I went to an open house for Rutgers Prep last year. The teachers are half as qualified as the Public Schools and there is a constant rotation. No loyalty. Most are substitutes or temps.
The kids there also seem to be mostly special needs or on the border of special needs. We decided to continue with public schooling. It all depends on what is taught at home.
I see where the DOGE shitshow continues with this dumb email requirement. Half the departments have told their workers not to send them, even though all of the employees are supposedly resigning if they don’t.
THIS is MAGA!
My BIL is in one of those departments where hes been told not to send one.
Lib – Libre Office is still around, was forked from the Open Office project from the early 2000s that was trying to dethrone Microsoft. StarOffice was the processor to that in the 1980s…as well. There were many attempts at it , even when Oracle and IBM tried too in the 1990s.
Thanks Rent… Were were at the Docs twice in the last week, weekend before in Long Island for another leg injury that was just a deep bruise, and he has a hamstring pull from High School Track. These kids play hard. In my opinion most of the serious injuries happen on the Astro Turf, and well the ground is still frozen. I question why we do this in February and well coaches all sign up for it…
Rutgers prep is littered with the children of Rutger’s professors in New Brunswick. They pay tutors to teach their kids. They only are there to pay tuition as a demonstration that they will pay full tuition to whatever Ivy that accepts them.
“Apple (AAPL) announced Monday that it will spend and invest more than $500 billion in the US over the next four years, including plans to build a new manufacturing factory, double its advanced manufacturing fund, and hire 20,000 people.
“We are bullish on the future of American innovation, and we’re proud to build on our long-standing U.S. investments with this $500 billion commitment to our country’s future,” Apple CEO Tim Cook said in a statement.
“From doubling our Advanced Manufacturing Fund, to building advanced technology in Texas, we’re thrilled to expand our support for American manufacturing. And we’ll keep working with people and companies across this country to help write an extraordinary new chapter in the history of American innovation.””
Juice, sorry for the son’s injury. Hope he gets better soon.
Chad, looks like the left party got the most youth vote. Do the Deutsch Jugend behave similar to our Gen-Z, pressured under a lot of economic and social stress?
Good luck with that. Not sure what “management” school you subscribe to, but I’ve never seen an entity survive let alone thrive by employing the stupidest people to do the work.
Here’s a nice MAGA story from a friend we know in Nutley. It’s a Facebook post:
For my friends who won’t believe this article because they believe CNN is “fake news”, I can assure you with first-hand knowledge that it is true and happening. My manager/head chef at The Oakley Kitchen was detained a month ago at JFK, as she returned from a family trip to Jamaica. Ngozi is a 30+ year green card holder from Trinidad (same country as the soldier in CNN article). She actually just went through the arduous process of getting her green card renewed 6 months ago. She even called up her government case-worker to make sure it was OK to leave the country as a green card holder under Trump administration and was assured she would have no issues returning.
Upon re-entry at JFK, immigration detained her by handcuffing her to a chair for 2 days; they didn’t feed her, or give her a place to sleep, and they took away her cell phone. On the 3rd day, they fed her a microwaved frozen meal (she said it was horrible). Also on the 3rd day, ICE showed up and put her on a plane to a detention center in Louisiana, where she still is being kept. I got a call from her at the detention center on the 4th day (it literally came up as “JAIL” on my phone). Apparently the detainees get about 20 minutes of phone time each day. She still hasn’t been given the opportunity to see a judge, and she has a lawyer. Apparently it can take 6-12 months before seeing a judge. I guess habeas corpus and the right to a speedy trial doesn’t apply to green card holders?
Ngozi is a beloved member of the Nutley-Belleville community. She has fed or made a drink for many of you. She is a local treasure. Her brother put up a gofundme for her and she raised $106,000 from 1,800 people in less than a week (and then she shut it down bc she was embarrassed to have raised more than she needed to hire lawyer, and that is just who Ngozi is). She has been paying taxes and supporting herself and raised a few kids for the past 30+ years, and now “we” are paying to house, feed, secure, and keep her healthy — so we are being inhumane AND wasting taxpayers money on her. Maybe we should have DOGE analyze this situation to fix it?
I wrote this post because whenever I tell this story about Ngozi to people (some of whom voted for Trump), they always say “well how can that be true if she was a valid green card holder”, and I’m tired of informing them that there are no concrete laws in America now that the SC overturned “no one is above the law” for the president. That was a foundational principle for America (just like we don’t have a monarchy/king).
Listen, our government/bureaucracy needed a shake-up — everyone can agree on that. But it matters who you pick to oversee the shake-up. Anyway, no real reason for this post other than I’m frustrated. Frustrated for myself, and more so frustrated for my friend, who is more like a sister to me and many others.
Jailing 30-year, legal green-card holding immigrants is very Jesus like. THIS is MAGA.
She managed a restaurant in Clifton. Maybe Gary or Small could move into her home. Like in Germany.
Lib, all those actions are performed by bureaucrats that have been there for years, if not decades. Do you think it was a working order issued 4 weeks ago that made them do this? None of your beloved agencies function properly and they’ve really stopped in the past 10 years.
Chicago. No, as far as I know, she’s been a chef in Nutley for 30 years. I’ll let you know if I find anything out, but my friends in Nutley are pretty reliable.
As to attributing it somehow to the prior administrations, I think you are sadly misguided. It IS a true shitshow in DC right now. We see it in our household as we live with a government worker who didn’t write his letter to the great and wonderful Doge as his boss, appointed by Trump, told them not to. This is the Doge, who so brilliantly fired our nuclear power plant operators before hiring them back. No, I’m sure there are hundreds like her detained wrongfully and hope when she gets released, she will sue the fuck out of this administration. Her go fundme has raised so much money, she was embarassed and turned it off as it was more than enough to pay her lawyer. This is MAGA. Enjoy the show. How is DJT and the $Trump coin doing today?
8:18, I totally believe it. I have seen something similar first hand – which is too painful for me to elaborate here.
Very often, there is no logic to it. The officer may just be in a bad mood and rarely do they back off. There are a lot of stories like this, where they are held in custody for days, but usually let go afterwards. But a small discrepancy in your documents – example a mispelled name between your home country document vs US document, itself can lead to being held.
I posted a few days ago, about how Trump wants to expand capacity of Guantanamo Bay in Cuba to 30,000 capacity. Who do you think will be housed there? There will certainly be a population who end up there due to no fault of theirs or having all the right documentation.
When entering ANY country you have to go thru the shitshow. A Green card holder is not a citizen of the USA. If you have a criminal conviction on your record you can be sent back to the country you are a citizen of.
Is it fair? NO…But tell me why does a person have a green card for 30 years when you simply can get citizenship and even have two passports as a dual citizen etc. Spinning the dice for 25 years now and not applying to be a citizen? It’s not like they give you a reading and writing test anymore. Sure you have to show up and take an Take oath of allegiance but the rest is just paperwork….
Juice, There are many reasons why a person doesn’t want to be on GC and not take up citizenship. Most countries do not allow dual citizenship. Then there is the whole tax consideration – especially if you have significant assets in your home country.
Regardless, that is not the point here. You cannot put the blame on someone entering the country legally, shackle them and lock them up. But it happens.
The movie Terminal hits close to anyone who is a first generation immigrant.
Lib – You roll the dice when you have a work visa. No matter where you are living. Non-citizen work visas in most countries by nature are temporary…. Many countries offer citizenship after five years or more working etc. Many do not as well.
Rent – The immigration judge will probably think the same as I do your your argument sucks because well Trinidad and Tobago allows dual citizenship as does the USA.
When you enter the port you can be denied entry if you are not a citizen or have a criminal record, you can be declared entering the country legally. It really is the law and that simple.
I think that chef got poor advice from friends and family on this one. Should have checked with a lawyer and perhaps not left town when King Trump is on the throne.
You are making excuses. I know MAGA can do no Wrong.
These are not criminals. Just hard working people caught in the crossfire of a party that gets off on hate. You know, the classic America that Gary alludes to all the time. Where people went to Church on Sunday and men kept their women in place and black people were slaves.
You roll the dice when you have a criminal record crossing any border.
We were crossing the border to go to Canada once and stopped at the NY State for the document inspection. A member of our party had a criminal record, they found out because they ran all of our licenses. Yes he was a stupid kid when he got caught by the police with drugs. Access denied…. He had to take a bus back home and we all went of for our trip.
Is this the case here with the chef? No idea……but possible.
If you are from a country that allows dual citizenship, and you decide take on US citizenship (it’s your right whether you want to or not), you HAVE to pay taxes on income in the other country. Taxation is a mess. Not everyone wants that.
I’m sure there are other reasons.
The fact that you are looking for excuses for a horrible, horrible twist of fate and bad judgement from an immigration officer says a lot about you.
Juice, please educate yourself before making excuses.
” You can’t do that, man. I mean you don’t abuse ’em once in a while they’ll shit all over you. I don’t mean you walk around morning to night whackin’ ’em upside the head like someone from the other side, but you terrorize ’em once in a while just to keep ’em in line. Know what I mean? Like sometimes, when they embarrass you in front of your friends, you whack ’em with a backhand. You’re not in the middle of the road like some fucking animal, but nice, in the bedroom. Ba-boom! “What am I? Some kind of fucking asshole? Get your coat on fast and you don’t say goodnight to nobody! You understand me?” That’s to keep them humble. When you don’t let them say goodnight to nobody, they walk out looking at the fucking floor.”
Juice. There is no travel ban for those with Green Cards.
And just wait until you see the impact of all of this. America wasn’t broken. Far from it. Trump made up the immigration problem as well as the broken economy problem. It all went back to 2015 when that asshole Bannon started with all these lies and conspiracies. The country is about to pay an enormous price for all of this.
It’s amazing. Obama in office. Country is a POS. Trump in office. Country is great. Biden in office. Country is a POS. Trump in office one fucking month and we are great again. Third terms. Mount Rushmore. It’s all a fucking show and you are all being duped. Do you know who it’s not great for? Every single immigrant, regardless of how hard working and law abiding, or even if they are legal. Every black person in this country. Every government worker still employed, who is walking on eggshells and making a plan to join the private sector. Meanwhile, Trump is breaking every law he can while poisoning the courts with ring kissers. He puts podcasters and news anchors in high cabinet positions and has seriously jeopardized our standing in the world through his idiotic mouth and America Number One false bravado. It’s all a show and he hasn’t done one fucking thing for anyone but himself (7 billion richer). And you are okay with this?
The market, DJT and $Trump have all spoken loudly. Now it’s time to face the consequences for fixing something that was never broke. I warned you all. This is not the ravings of a die-hard democratic shill. This is the perspective of someone with strong investing acumen, a decent world view and a lot of common sense. Stop buying the bullshit. The masses are asses and it is being proven out. The longer people keep ignoring the reality, the more dangerous of a place this country is going to become for you and your family.
A lot of really stupid people kissed the ring. This is who makes up all of the leadership in our government now. Look at the resumes on these fools. They are all controversial, but have only one thing in common. They were the first ones duped and joined the cult early. Then the entrepreneurial ones who wanted a piece of our pie followed suit and now we have a government of ass kissers supporting a dictatorship. And you are okay with this. This is not my America anymore. I didn’t raise my kids to believe in lies and play the I got mine game, so get the fuck out. THIS is MAGA.
And yes, the Dems sucked. But not like this. This is a complete and utter shitshow and Trump is doing so much damage to our country and its standing in the world, I only hope we can survive it.
You are breaking the law if you do not declare the foreign income. Green Card holders are indeed required to report their worldwide income to the IRS. There is no box to check on IRS Form 1040 that says your citizenship status makes you exempt. Your residency determines your tax paying and filing by law.
Gator just heard from the wife of one of her close coworkers. Apparently, he was let go when Gator was. He took his life that day. He was black.
THIS is MAGA.
My net worth is now down a solid 5 to 10% since MAGA took over and that’s with Gator’s severance.
Gary, let me know when all of this greatness gets here please, because so far, all I have witnessed is the worst month in the past decade.
Let’s see if my BIL gets laid off to add to the greatness. Supposedly, he is semi-fired. Trump’s words, not mine.
Bunch of idiots running the show and you guys are chearing on this bloodbath. Meanwhile, Mr. I don’t take a salary is 7 billion richer. Well probably 6 billion now.
Speaking of taxes and “tax you when you want to leave the country”
NJ is having their big budget reveal this afternoon with a speech by King Murphy…Rumors of an increased exit tax to help fund the multi billion dollar budget gap as well as cuts. Perhaps no more puppet shows…I really have no idea what they are going to cut.. perhaps the road salt budget? The stuff is everywhere, might as well sweep it all up and save it for next year.
Expect to be paying more for taxes…It’s for the children after all.
LIb,
The dems didn’t just suck, they called a legal hit on Trump.
You f’n miss, you best expect a really bad hit back. Oh, and that is the half of the country that voted for that turd Biden and Harris.
The dems cause this. All of it. F’n old geezers trying to control a situation and place their puppet when all they had to do was support their base, but they don’t like the plebs they represented.
NJ is the most corrupt state in the country! Again, there’s no will to fix it. By either party. I actually hope NJ turns red. Not that it will get any better if it’s MAGA red, but the Dems in NJ clearly don’t get it.
Yes they did. I argued with Gator to forget all of the little bullshit, and they should have focused only on J6 and Georgia. They were clearly clueless. Sadly, I think if they simply took the high road and put in some reforms around government insider trading, gift recieving and some campaign finance reform, they would have won pretty easily. Just too much grifting by politicians year after year. Now Trump comes in and grifts like no one ever before and this is okay. Because he’s MAGA.
And don’t forget the lies. How’s project 2025 doing. I’ll check the tracker.
More importantly. My bank just put up a “temporary reduction” of external outgoing transfer limit of $2500 from the standard $50000 between banks ACH transfer system.
Anyone seen anything odd. Last time the poop smelled this bad was around September 2008.
I can see money flowing out as people realize that is now “Confederacy States of Putin Bitch OrangeTurd Kingdom.”
BTW. This morning in Bloomberg. 200k expected in ex-fed employees unemployment, but with cancellation of multiple immigration visas expect a within the year loss of 3Million workers assuming they leave the country. Add Tariffs = Result stagflation.
In the Ukraine UN resolution the USA voted with Russia, North Korea, Nicaragua and other losers against Europe when even China abstained.
Someone that I know that is Ghanaian and was there during the 80’s famine is really sad. Because the only people that fed them was USAID. He thinks that a now that USAID is out of that area is going to be hell, because is ISIS bs local warlords backed by Russia’s Wagners.
Lib – nobody said anything about a travel ban. Only the immigration court judges have formal powers to strip you of your Green Card status. If you came across the border and CBP detained you and handed you over to ICE there was some “legal” reason. If it was “illegal” will the judge going side with you and release you? I would think so unless you now think the judges are afraid of King Trump’s wrath.
Yes it sucks, no it’s not fair..but it’s the system…Plenty of people get caught up in it even when Biden was president. Plenty of people sent back to the country they were actually a citizen of.
Yes, the youth in Germany is under a lot of economic stress. People are being laid off and are unsure of the future.
Trump is going to run circles around Merz, the next German chancellor. Now that he has won Merz has softened up on his closing the German border stance, etc. He is backtracking because he needs to form a coalition government with the leftist SPD. This new government won‘t last its full term.
I don’t even believe in deportation of anyone unless they are criminals.
I argued long before immigration was supposedly a problem that the solution is more judges and improved vetting. You don’t need a wall to stop immigration. You just need to vett them and the bad ones will stop coming in and the good ones will continue to build our country, like they always have. Neither party has had the will to vet immigrants since World War 2 since they are net positive to the economy. What woes were we suffering that all of a sudden has made immigration bad. Oh right, MAGA return to classic America. Where scapegoating, whether it be woman, Latinos or blacks are to blame for everything.
Lib – re: Crypto — Portnoy and MILEI might have killed Solana.
Good. Only morons invest in things that have no value. I have no sympathy for anyone who invests in any of that crap. SPACs too. All our protections have been whittled down to nothing. And Trump is embracing this shit. MAGA can do no Wrong.
It occurred to me that once we go state-issued everything ala hardcore, old school dictatorship, we won’t have to worry about egg prices. We’ll get our rations regardless. See, there’s a positive after all.
The fact is, we will never know if supporters of Kamala Harris are morons. But we do know for a fact, with evidence that they got duped, that Trump supporters are morons.
Lib- Immigration courts are backlogged with more than 3.7 million cases. There is no solution to that unless we start making immigration courts a requirement after law school kind of like a doctor intern for a hospital.
Seriously huge number…Biden added 2 million to that number BTW.
Send them all home and start over? Not going to happen either no matter what King Trump wants they are tied up on the courts.
What is ironic about the crypto kiddies is all of them keep printing their funny money. The all espouse their crypto coin as the solution to the Federal Reserve and it’s endless money printing yet they engage in it themselves, by creating all kinds new fiat coins all the time.
Apparently Billions worth of Solana coins will be “unlocked” next month. These coins were auctioned by the FTX bankruptcy auction sold 41m total coins. The whales are getting out ahead of the sale on the exchanges. Some bidders paid as low as 1/2 the value for these Solana coins at the auction prices ranged from $64 to $102 per token. Token is 143 now even with the dip. I would expect some may flood the market and drive it into hopefully oblivion.
What kind of year it would be without another massive crypto crash?
Where to begin with all the drama from the Dem stooges. Not a peep about the waste and fraud that’s being exposed, but complete outrage at the people that are exposing it.
Do any of you want to take a crack at defending the $2B in tax payer funds that was funneled to the NGO that Stacy Abrams clearly set up as a Dem slush fund — and for the sole purpose of accepting the $2B grift? Can’t wait to hear the excuses…
I already responded to that. Two billion is an exageration of course. Still, it’s wrong. But when Trump uses a charity for personal income. It’s perfectly ok by MAGA. He kissed the flag. Did you see it? And held a bible up in front of a boarded up church too. Go MAGA!
Hope you are enjoying the show.
Let me know when we are great again won’t you please.
First, there is absolutely no proof that it is a slush fund. She sits on an advisory board of a different NGO than the one that received the 2 billion and not a penny of it has been spent yet. But with MAGA, repeat a story enough times and it sticks like glue. Second, DOGE didn’t discover it. It was the EPA administrator Zeldin that did. Now, there’s no doubt that the money was rushed out to Power Forward Communities prior to the inauguration, but that’s not illegal. The program existed to help poor people in the community improve the energy effeciency of their homes. They have a similar program to this in Montclair. Heck, if you are low income, they will replace your windows, get you a new furnace, even replace an old fridge. No doubt a little money is probably skimmed off of these programs in kickbacks and stuff, but you can’t simply make the outrageous claim that it was a 2 billion dollar slush fund. Especially when not a single penny of it was spent.
But lies are the MO of MAGA. There is no fact checking. Heck, no one cares about the truth. If it sounds good, then it’s repeated as fact. It’s all a show to keep DJT and his meme coins as high as possible. But keep on spouting the lies. Not that I would ever expect you to Google search for answers. Someone like you won’t admit you were were ever wrong. Not even once. Just like the cult leader himself. Show me one time Trump admitted he did something wrong. I can show you plenty of times Biden apologized. Show me one. You can’t. Because it’s all lies and one big show.
Thanks for asking me to look into this Stacy Abrams thing.

this speed in 2 years, we will become on par with mid-level 3rd world county on standards of living. With dollar losing reserve status, there is more depth where Chex-mix are abundant.
The bank is Everbank. Originally Long Island based small bank that went internet in the ~2003. Bought Bank of Florida during the crisis. Was bought by TIAA Cref. Spinned out by TIAA Cref around 2022, they still own 40% and the rest is all private equity big wigs like Warburg Pincus. Their specialty is foreign currency accounts. They are also the default Sweep Account for TIAA Brokerage accounts.
For the Democrats. The only solution now is to close down the government and let the government default on its debt. The point is if this is no longer the United Stated of America, but The Kingdom of Confederate States of PutinBitch OrangeTurd, then you do not get to keep the USA’s financial status premium.
The Dems can always rebuilt once the get rid off anyone over 40 in their leadership and repudiated everything that came after Clinton. Just look at Schumer. He’s Wall Street little shoeshine geezer. How can you expect anything better?
I had an account at Everbank. I think I even promoted them here when I used them for an account signup bonus. Was a terrible bank, but the offer paid. Was in them through the transition to TIAA/CREF. I might have $3.42 left in the account. I think they pissed me off when I went to transfer the money to another bank, so I left some in there so they can keep paying to service me. No electronic statements here.
Looks like NorCal might be on my bingo card this year. Oooof. NJ level taxes with home prices at $1.5m for something decent. Talking about The Peninsula.
Well done, Lib. Like a good stooge you willingly accept the pilfering of your taxes, and expect no accountability for government spending. The Dems couldn’t exist without you. I especially love these doozies…
Lib: “there is absolutely no proof that it is a slush fund”
Reality: When a Dem administration sends $2B to an NGO that’s affiliated with a Dem party operative, and that NGO has no history and no source of funding other than those federal government funds, that NGO is a slush fund.
Lib: “No doubt a little money is probably skimmed off of these programs in kickbacks and stuff”
Reality: A lot of money is skimmed, but the real headscratcher is how willingly you and the other Dem stooges accept this — and are only outraged at the people that are trying to uncover the full extent.
Please stay in a blue state; don’t pollute a red/purple state with your lunacy.
I don’t see Obama arranging a march? I see no walk to capitol hill. And the protests are just photo ops if anything.
We need brave leaders on the democratic side.
That said, with FBI and Secret Service now compromised, what chance do the Obamas or Clintons or anyone else have a chance to lead a protest? With a wink or a nod they would be pushed off a tall building like the KGB does.
Totally agree. Maddow is a great thinker and knows history. The electoral college is a death knell for democracy. It’ll ensure that flyover country controls the gubmint from here on out.
Here ya go, a brave soldier! A trooper! Another democrat not afraid to lead the charge!
“MARYLAND (WBFF) — The Maryland House of Delegates passed legislation Friday to repeal the prohibition of selling condoms in public school vending machines.
Sponsored by Del. Nicole Williams, a Prince George’s County Democrat, House Bill 380 would allow contraceptives to be sold in nursery school, preschool, elementary and high school vending machines. It also removes the misdemeanor criminal penalty of $1,000.”
Before you explode. In my opinion the answer is yes and no.
Let me tell you how it was done pre-social media and variations of it that likely happened in 2016 with Cambridge Analytical and Facebook and the druggie Hugo Drax wannabe. BTW I would have more respect for him if he was doing fun drugs like cocaine and ecstasy instead of zombie making ketamine.
So in the good old days. The political boss would have his underlings canvas the locals. They knock on the door and ask “good evening Mr & Mrs Simpson -how do you like Mayor Quimby? If answer is “Well he stinks” you marked them as 1, if they love him – mark as 5 and anything in between for mix preferences.
Election Day come and the boss’s election monitor representatives in the voting area sees that the Simpson are here to vote and they hate mayor Quimby. So they will mark them as voting and let their HQ know and that is how they keep track. If it’s a tight and tough election the election monitors will challenge the vote. The Simpson can still vote but they got to go for a hearing in front of a voting day election judge who is on duty during Election Day for any drama. If the opposition is strong, they will have some one at the polling site ready to help the Simpson and give them a ride and guide them to the election judge and make sure they vote.
In 2016, my feel is that Cambridge Analytical used the same methods with technology and did the surveying and influencing response targeted ads with Facebook.
In 2024, I have no doubt that our druggie Hugo Drax wannabbe Nick Cannon targeted and influenced Twitter users in PA specifically. Guarantee you that Twitter users in certain matching socio-economic and locations got bombarded with constant interruptions to vote.
That is how has always been done. In the confederate traitor states prior and even at the start of the civil rights legislation they would not let any blacks even register to vote.
This Maddow chick is the next to get canned. Her acting chops suck but then she has to find the enthusiasm to peddle that slop day after day. Joy Reid had the same smarmy arrogance, using that fake-looking head bob to go with the crisis du jour. It always looks like a sad attempt at satire, like an eight year old wearing mom’s heels and pretending to be a reporter. Aww… how cute. Never once were those MSNBC hags believable but if that wasn’t bad enough, nobody had the heart to tell them how stupid they looked as well.
So, every european country including UK would cut aid to the poorest of the poor, just to offset a portion to extra defense spending. All because US wants it that way.
Why should we be forced to subsidize the EU? Why do we have to pay 25-30k a year to send our kids to live at a state college so other countries get more o pay less than a community college in the US?
Maybe those countries should reduce benefits to the middle and upper classes instead to pay their fair share for defense.
Hold,
This is where most people get it wrong. This me, me, me thinking will make the whole world worse.
Other countries will need to increase their defense budgets regardless of what we spend now. It’s the rhetoric – and basically, we are asking them to buy our bombs – otherwise….
It’s like the alley bully wanting your snack, not because he is hungry – but just ‘cuz he wants to cause trouble. Or, the mafia, that wants the cafe to “buy” protection even when the cafe doesn’t need that protection.
But of course, it is an easier sell when you say that we are paying for some one else’s protection with your tax dollars.
Wall Street has had a case of the jitters recently, and I can’t blame it. On Tuesday, the S&P 500 fell for the fourth day in a row. The index has dipped below 6,000, and it’s fallen beneath its 50-day moving average.

Of course, we should put this in context. Yes, the market is down, but that’s measuring from its all-time high from last Wednesday. Also, markets are naturally very volatile. The stock market pulls back all the time, even in roaring bull markets. There’s nothing unusual about this latest move. The combined loss is a little over 3%.
Still, there are some areas of concern. The economy could be getting weaker. The last retail-sales report was a dud. The jobs report was less than expected. Also, the inflation report came in hot. I noticed that the wage gains for January were the exact same as the inflation figure for January. In other words, every penny in raises was eaten up by higher prices.
Consumer Confidence Plunges
We got more bad news today in the Consumer Confidence report. The Conference Board said that the consumer confidence index fell to 98.3 for February. That’s down seven points from January, and it came in below Wall Street’s estimate for 102.3. If shoppers aren’t happy, then the economy will not do well.
This was the biggest drop in consumer confidence in more than three years, and it was the lowest reading since last June. Inflation expectations increased to 6%. That’s three times the Fed’s target. This comes at the same time that tariffs appear ready to go into effect. We really have no idea yet what the impact could be. The CEO of Alcoa said that it could cost 100,000 jobs in the aluminum industry.
“Views of current labor market conditions weakened. Consumers became pessimistic about future business conditions and less optimistic about future income,” said Stephanie Guichard, the board’s senior economist for global indicators. “Pessimism about future employment prospects worsened and reached a ten-month high.”
There’s another consumer confidence report put out by the University of Michigan. Last week, it reported a larger-than-expected drop of nearly 10%.
We’re currently in a fairly quiet period for economic reports. The new-home sales report is out tomorrow. Later this week, the government will revise the Q4 GDP numbers. While that’s an important report, Q4 is already a bit dated for our purposes. Markets move quickly but econ reports move slowly. A lot of guessing is done in the middle.
One interesting aspect of the market’s recent downturn is that it’s been heavily tilted toward riskier stocks. I like to track the S&P 500 High Beta Index which is a group of high-volatility stocks within the S&P 500. Over the past week, the S&P 500 has lost 2.8%, but the S&P 500 High Beta Index has lost 7.6% while the S&P 500 Low Volatility Index has gained 2.2%.
That’s a big spread for just a few days. It’s further evidence that investors are shying away from risk and that they’re looking for safe havens. I’ll also note that our ETF has been performing well versus the rest of the market in recent days.
In no sense are riskier stocks better or worse than conservative stocks. Instead, there’s a cycle to both and it reflects investor outlook. Sometimes investors become more willing to shoulder risk, and in other times, they seek shelter from the storm. Riskier assets had been doing well, but they got some pushback this week.
It’s not just stocks; we can see the same effect playing out in other markets. For example, bitcoin got dinged hard yesterday and today.
At the end of next week, March 7 to be exact, we’ll get the jobs report for February and that will tell us more about the economy’s recent behavior. The expectation that there will be fewer jobs six months from now rose to its highest level in over a decade.
The simple story is that Wall Street is bracing for bad news, but we don’t know if the upcoming news will be bad just yet. The market prefers to move before the news is certain. For now, Wall Street is adjusting itself to the possibility of bad news.
Buffett Has $330 Billion in Cash
Over the weekend, Warren Buffett released his annual shareholder letter. These are always fun to read. The 94-year-old CEO has a great ability to make complicated topics easy to understand.
What’s caught people’s attention is that Buffett’s cash holding has soared to more than $330 billion. A lot of commenters think that the large cash position reflects a bearish outlook from Buffett.
BRT,
I agree. But man did MAGA politicize something formerly had no partisan position over. If you listened to MAGA, I was going to get turbo cancer at Costco where I was loudly told by a Maga idiot that the Covid shot was going to kill me and the flu shot was a waste of time though he wasn’t as against it.
Lib – Buffet is got nowhere to park it other than treasuries. He is the original duck McScrooge too. I read he is not giving his money away.
13 Firms have 1 trillion in cash but it’s not really cash is it? UST etc. $2.6 trillion held by all of the companies in the S&P 500 mainly in U.S. Treasury bills.
Then again a Trillion isn’t what it once was even 20 years ago. They wanted to be billionaires many made it to a single digit. Now we haven them moving to be trillionaires…
Like George Carlin said they got ya by the balls and It’s a big club, and you ain’t in it.
What about the toxic waste uncovered at the FBI and CIA? The things we’ll never know because it’s classified? How many compliance rules were violated? How many criminal activities took place? How many were paid through laundered means? And how many more “reporters” is the left going to stuff through the meat grinder while trying to resurrect yet another failed hoax? Cable news outlets reporting the work of the Trump administration are beating the network news muppets in viewer numbers. And the only reason Americans are watching the muppet media at all is because it’s become the newest trend in comedy. Or is it tragedy? The left has lost their minds.
Lib, you’re wrong. If they are age 5, who did this happen under? Why are people so skeptical now. Your are totally failing at finding fault with the actual cause. You only get mad at the effect. Meanwhile, 4 years ago, I was on this site actively saying that the CDC and NIH actions would cause this. There is blame here to be place, and it doesn’t rest on Trump or RFK.
BTW on the way out the door Biden admin handed Moderna 700 million to develop a new MRNA bird flu vaccine. However their MRNA vaccine is already in Phase 3 clinical trials. I don’t see how they really need to be handed all that money.
Based on all the MRNA vaccine hype about how they can easily make it now it should be was a quick reformulation to get it made and integrated into the existing MRNA production lines for covid, flu and whatever cancer vaccines they are cooking up. That 700 million. It’s pork…Moderna has $7.025B cash on hand.
BTW the last HHS Secretary? Xavier Becerra He never even looked inside a medical book. He was an ambulance chaser by trade, like Kennedy. He is part of the DNC political machine so that is OK in their book to elevate him to the secretary of health and human services. Now that he is out he is going to run for Govenor of California.
Kennedy is unqualified for the job and so was Biden’s pick to run the HHS, but nobody on the left complained then they just goose step in unison as usual and take orders.
Rent,
I put dash cams in after a friend’s close call. I watched the reviews, bought the recommended best of breed Chinese unbranded cam. Too large, dorky looking, and too many bells whistles. Also, not a fan of a bright screen staring back at me at night. I returned it and got a Garmin Mini 2 dash cam, and also purchased Garmin’s polarizing filter lens. Incredibly tiny, sleek look, hides behind my mirror next to the EZ pass and routed the cable through the liner in about 10 minutes. If I need something off of it, I just connect my phone and pull it off that way.
Kennedy is unqualified for the job and so was Biden’s pick to run the HHS, but nobody on the left complained then they just goose step in unison as usual and take orders.
The administrator of a large organization – whether that org is gov or private industry- doesn’t have to be (and can’t be) an “expert” in everything that organization does.
But he does have to listen to the people in the organization who do who have the expertise.
The problem with Kennedy is that he has spent a lifetime spouting ideas that people with the right expertise will tell you is nonsense.
Putting Kennedy in charge of HHS is like selecting a Sec of Defence who thinks the Army needs to get rid of their M4s carbines and go back to using the Brown Bess musket.muskets.
Ok at face value Xavier Becerra never managed anything large in his career, that makes him unqualified whether he “does have to listen to the people “.
Look the left is just as guilty of the right of picking unqualified people to run these larger government organizations many with budgets bigger than that of entire countries.
It’s all politics. A week before Trump took office the FDA decided to ban Red food dye # 3. Why the last minute move here? Oh wait there was a petition to ban it……..Yeah right….
Lisa showed me that stupid video at breakfast. Thanks Chi. Taking pictures of Dubai and claiming that’s what Gaza will look like is about as dishonest as everything else Trump posts. Was good for a quick laugh though. Was surprised he was willing to leave in the stupid Putin pool party cut.
Juice,
The vaccines usually halve the recovery time if you do get the infliction. As to flu vaccine effectiveness, I would take it even if it was 10% effective. What do you have to lose besides having to be entertained by rude MAGA idiots who will teach you about turbo cancer while you wait in line.
If today is an up market day, I’m taking my 75/25 allocation and reversing it for wealth preservation. I’ve seen enough of the show. Every day there is more and more proof that everything Trump is doing is an attempt to try to maintain the value of DJT regardless of the impact it will have for his constituents. I think he brought us a recession. This is not going to help with the tax revenues. Neither is everyone losing their jobs and tightening up their purse strings. And it only took one month.
New Jersey will take the brunt of the new pollutants these policies will cause. We lost the battle with Monsanto a while back and RoundUp is everywhere. I have a neighbor who ran a pigment factory in the 70s and sold it for a nice chunk. It was never reopened by the new owner because they couldn’t get the clearance. This may sound bad, but talking to him, he himself didn’t believe it was the right kind of company to run here.
Imagine China with its pollutants or the slums of Mumbai… that’s what our neighborhoods will become. It’s not just plastic floating around.
And you wonder why we have a lot more of neurological diseases.
All this sounds so negative.. unfortunately, the reality is worse.
This morning listening to Bloomberg, there was a juxtaposition of ideas by different guests that clarified things for me.
One guess was explaining the Mar-A-Lago accord. High tariff to force US manufacturing, devaluation of USD and forcing the cost of that on foreign holders of USA debt. All goals are in odds with each others. But it would make the US manufacturing economy somewhat like the 60’s at best.
Another guest was from Switzerland. The conversation mentioned the high cost of restaurants there. He mentioned that among others. They did not expect to pay a tip of 20-25%. The waiters earnings are sufficiently high enough to afford a restaurant.
The globalization period destroyed working class earnings but its damage was cloaked in cheap Chinese products. Now we are heading into period where products are going to be expensive because of the tariffs/built in the USA. But at same time there won’t be the protections of unions or any presently ruling political party for the working class, like the deal the Swiss have done. You can see this with HHS getting rid of the enforcement arms against health insurance companies that ensure there is no discrimination by race, disability or diseases.
So yeah. It’s going to be a turd show because is high cost because of tariffs, products and distribution monopsonies between the PE owned manufacturers that are going to restore and the Amazon and WalMart and the push to keep the jackboot in the working class throat.

“Is this what MAGA wanted?”
Certainly wanted to get rid of the perverted trannies and other freaks that the Dems allowed to trash our once-reliable institutions and agencies. You would’ve thought the Dems might learn from Sam Brinton, the dress-stealing tranny that SlowJoe put in charge of nuclear waste disposal. But apparently not, as a hundred or more other freaks in the intelligence community were still openly using internal communication channels to brag about their perversions. Fired as of last night; we should all be happy.
You believe what ever unproven thing you want to, I’ll waste my time with vaccines. I’m happy to still have them available to me and know they save millions upon millions of lives. I’m happy you avoided the flu without them, it’s possible you were lucky without the vaccine, though probability and studies show that the vaccine helps prevent you from getting the flu. I’ll stick with the studies, profit motive and all.
“Based on data from recent flu seasons, the estimated effectiveness of the flu vaccine is typically between 40% and 60%. This means that the vaccine can prevent an average of 40-60% of influenza infections. However, it is important to note that the effectiveness can range widely from year to year.
In some cases, the vaccine may be more effective at preventing severe illness, hospitalization, or death, even if it is not as effective at preventing infection. For example, during the 2020-2021 flu season, the vaccine was estimated to be 52-63% effective at preventing hospitalization among hospitalized adults.
It is also worth noting that the effectiveness of the vaccine may be different for different influenza strains. For example, during the 2023-2024 flu season, the vaccine is estimated to be more effective against influenza B than influenza A.
Overall, the flu vaccine is a valuable tool for preventing influenza and reducing its impact. However, it is important to understand that its effectiveness can vary and that it is not always 100% effective.”
It’s all about choice, but when the FDA’s panel convened on whether to approve them for ages 5 and under, they voted to not based on the risk reward profile that was known. They were overridden by a political appointee. Then, the uptake was 5% at best even in states like NJ. So tell me, how should we characterize the 95% of the population that made that choice at the time? The idea that this is just a straight forward “hey it works, you should take it” choice is ludicrous.
Anyone catch up on what King Murphy proposed for the budget?
58.1 Billion that would be a 4% increase about $2 billion more than last year.
Pumps will be happy if that is possible. $7.2 billion for the State’s pension system and approximately $6.7 billion for State Health Benefits Program.
Murphy also went on a tear about inflation making things unaffordable..No shit sherlock…
He went for sin tax increases, Alcohol 10% increase, online gambling 25% tax increase, cigarettes.
BTW the exit tax? Increase on the exiting 1% assessment for homes purchased above $1 million to 2%, and home purchased for more than $2 million increase to 3%.
I am in full agreement that there were nefarious actions in play with some of the Covid shot mandates. See that? But I also know that the right was pushing against all uses of the Covid vaccine in an attempt to politicize it into a wedge issue. So instead of the truth coming to light, you had mistruths coming from both sides, which helps noone.
People like you and me dig deeper and follow the research. Reading the studies and making our own informed decisions. The masses are asses and unfortunately, take their leader’s positions at faith. We both know never to do that.
So what’s your take on the Secretary of Health believinga ntidepressants are causing mass shootings or that chemicals in the water are turning kids gay?
Did I say exit tax? I meant the purchaser pays more…aka Mansion purchaser tax it’s now 2% and 3%. The exit tax I believe remains the same. If you sell your home you have to pay 8.97 percent of the profit/capital gain on it to the state of New Jersey.
There is Gary and it was happening. Until Trump got elected.
Sadly, the best way to control inflation is to raise taxes. Not to reduce them. You can make them less regressive so the wealthy, who continue to gain the vast majority of our increases in productivity and who benefit the most from investment friendly taxation, pay a larger share. Of course your King, the master of bankruptcy, wants to cut taxes (and raise tariffs). Of course, not having people (immigrants) willing to work at the lowest wages will also put pressure on pricing. Now cutting government spending should help. But so far, the amount of savings doesn’t amount to a drop in the ocean.
So no, it’s not a choice between recession and inflation. But it’s even a worse choice to make both occur at the same time. That’s the decision the King has chosen.

Up thread – standard, basic crim attorney advice to non-citizens long term residents facing even traffic court: get your citizenship bc you can face deportation if ever convicted of a crime. How anyone living in the us and watching the 2016 election (10 years ago!) and not attain citizenship . . . Well, the writing was on the wall.
Lib – Get it right please. In June 2008 the Obama campaign released his birth certificate because of questions about his eligibility by the left. He was at the time running against Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primaries.
Juice, you have a way to be technically correct yet grossly wrong. Ask anyone in the world and they will tell you who made Obama’s birther story a controversy.
Ok at face value Xavier Becerra never managed anything large in his career, that makes him unqualified whether he “does have to listen to the people “.
Look the left is just as guilty of the right of picking unqualified people to run these larger government organizations many with budgets bigger than that of entire countries.
Juice-
There are degrees of being “unqualified”.
As the conservative writer PJ Orourke (I recomend his books!) said when he endorsed Hillary Clinton over Trump in 2016: “She’s wrong about absolutely everything, but she’s wrong within normal parameters”.
I’ll go with the recession. A mild recession is actually healthy. Not a Volcker type recession where he had to put the hammer down on inflation. But we’re due and it’s less painful than constant inflation. Once and a while, you need to go to the economic mattresses.
Rent – I can use AI too to ask questions. I know without the AI becuase well I have a great memory. I heard it from friends and family in my circle in 2008, that his back ground was questioned and this long before Trump said a peep about him as confirmed by ChatGPT below.
“In 2008, during Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, Donald Trump did not initially make significant public statements about Obama’s birth certificate or his eligibility. ”
“The controversy surrounding Barack Obama’s background in 2008 was not initiated by a single individual but was largely fueled by a combination of political opponents, media coverage, and certain fringe elements. Here are some key factors and individuals who played a role in starting or amplifying the controversy:
Hillary Clinton’s Campaign: During the 2008 Democratic primary, some of Obama’s rivals, particularly those in the Hillary Clinton campaign, sought to question his qualifications and experience. While the Clinton campaign itself did not explicitly attack Obama’s background in a major way, there were indirect references that tried to frame Obama as inexperienced or not fully American. ”
It was in fact Hillary’s surrogates that questioned his background during the 2008 Democratic primaries and later the “muslim” quip came up during a town hall with John McCain.
These weren’t MAGA people, as that did not even come about until 2016 although Trump did start crap back in 2011 about his birth certificate the origins are in fact from the 2008 campaign.
Trump and his cabinet gathered with full press corespondents. fielding question after question for an hour or better and still going. Full transparency day after day. All out in the open. This is what an executive does, not a politician. This is what democracy looks like… it’s not supposed to be a bureaucracy. This is clarity, this is scope, this is what we’ve needed for decades. Cry as you must but my advice is to accept it and know that every executive that follows must use the same playbook.
A stage for lies to maintain the price of DJT. Like cancelling everything DEI and then marching a token group of blacks through the white house for black history month. And what a dumb group of blacks they were. They were so happy for Trump, I wouldn’t be surprised if he paid them.
I thought the market might actually go up today. But no. Down it goes again. Nice job Trumpy. Can’t wait to see his approval ratings a month from now.
Oopsy. Bad boy. Doesn’t look like God helped you. Now say your 20 Hail Mary’s and get 5k to the Penguin so she can pay her taxes so the orphanage isn’t shut down.
Since 1969, Saint John Vianney High School has been a Catholic community igniting intellectual growth, serving those in need, exploring passions, and inspiring a commitment to know God.
Embarrassing to try and equate a whisper campaign by unnamed sources which was subsequently dropped very quickly versus a whole party who went all in on the conspiracy which was led by the current president and probably most of the gullible idiots still believe to this day. The false equivalency master has topped himself.
Sounds like every other rube who has fallen under a totalitarian regime. Blind acceptance in the face of what is clearly a hostile government takeover by the very rich will not end well. It’s a club, and you ain’t in it, gary.
Oopps I forgot to cite my MSM news sources. This started long before Trump sent a detective to Hawaii to dig dirt on Obama. Right before the DNC convention where Hillary hoped to be picked as the next Presidential candidate by the Democrats.
“The New York Times” – June 2008: A New York Times article titled “Obama Faces New Questions Over Citizenship” reported that some opponents were questioning whether Obama was born in the U.S. It cited online rumors about Obama’s birth, but also noted that Obama had released a copy of his birth certificate and that Hawaii officials had verified his birth in the state.
“The Washington Post” – July 2008: The Washington Post published a story titled “Obama’s Birth Certificate: A Conspiracy Theory Circles Again,” addressing the rising claims from conservative bloggers and political opponents. The article highlighted the persistent rumors and included the perspective that Obama’s birth certificate had already been shown to the public, but the issue continued to gain traction in certain circles.
CNN – June 2008: CNN aired a segment discussing the “birther” conspiracy, which suggested that Obama might have been born in Kenya, despite official records confirming his birth in Hawaii. In the report, CNN presented statements from political analysts and legal experts dismissing the claims, while still acknowledging the controversy’s persistence.
We all know it was Hillary, just like the Russia collusion wisper campaign….
“I shared this note with the Washington Post team this morning:
I’m writing to let you know about a change coming to our opinion pages.
We are going to be writing every day in support and defense of two pillars: personal liberties and free markets. We’ll cover other topics too of course, but viewpoints opposing those pillars will be left to be published by others.
There was a time when a newspaper, especially one that was a local monopoly, might have seen it as a service to bring to the reader’s doorstep every morning a broad-based opinion section that sought to cover all views. Today, the internet does that job.
I am of America and for America, and proud to be so. Our country did not get here by being typical. And a big part of America’s success has been freedom in the economic realm and everywhere else. Freedom is ethical — it minimizes coercion — and practical — it drives creativity, invention, and prosperity.
I offered David Shipley, whom I greatly admire, the opportunity to lead this new chapter. I suggested to him that if the answer wasn’t “hell yes,” then it had to be “no.” After careful consideration, David decided to step away. This is a significant shift, it won’t be easy, and it will require 100% commitment — I respect his decision. We’ll be searching for a new Opinion Editor to own this new direction.
I’m confident that free markets and personal liberties are right for America. I also believe these viewpoints are underserved in the current market of ideas and news opinion. I’m excited for us together to fill that void.

Bezos – “We are going to be writing every day in support and defense of two pillars: personal liberties and free markets.”
It’s morning again in America…
– Companies and gov institutions abandoning the insane, divisive policies of the Oblama/Biden Dems
– Southern border completely secure (less than 200 apprehensions per day)

Elon Musk and his cost-cutting U.S. DOGE Service team have been on a mission to trim government largesse. Yet Musk is one of the greatest beneficiaries of the taxpayers’ coffers.
Over the years, Musk and his businesses have received at least $38 billion in government contracts, loans, subsidies and tax credits, often at critical moments, a Washington Post analysis has found, helping seed the growth that has made him the world’s richest person.
A cryptocurrency promoter is set to helm the nation’s commodities regulator. An online-payment entrepreneur has been nominated to lead its space program. An electric-car, aerospace, and social-media mogul—the world’s richest person—is overseeing the dismantling of long-established federal agencies.
An unprecedented number of figures from a single industry—technology—are assuming posts in the Trump administration. They are already leaving a deeper mark on Washington than past business power centers—defense, banking, and energy—whose executives have frequently assumed cabinet posts.
The most scrutiny so far has fallen on Elon Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, which wields broad authority over federal spending and workforce reductions. Yet to come is a wave of appointments that will influence policy in areas ranging from cryptocurrencies to healthcare to competition with China.
“What we see now isn’t different in kind from what we’ve seen before,” says University of Texas at Austin history professor Henry W. Brands. “But it’s different in degree.”
A common denominator among many of these figures is their links to Musk and venture capitalist Peter Thiel, who, along with newly appointed crypto and artificial-intelligence “czar” David Sacks, are members of the Silicon Valley clique known as the
Mafia—entrepreneurs who found some of their earliest riches as founders of the payment portal. Others are in the overlapping orbit of tech investor Marc Andreessen.

Individual stocks, hold luxury brands and the things rich people still buy and middle class buy that makes them feel rich, even though they shouldn’t. See my TPR? Glad I bailed on ADUS too, and just in time.

It was a hell of a run. You can’t make 20-30% every year ya know. I can’t wait to see what I’m sending into Uncle Sam and Drop Trow Murphy after last year. I just did my BIL’s taxes and he owed 3K. He wanted to kill me. Then I showed him where he made nearly 50K in his taxable account. If ever there was a lesson in maxing out the ROTH, he just learned it.
That 38 Billion that Elon sucked off of the government is just based on the info that is publicly available. Doesn’t include DOD, NSA, CIA, etc that is compartmentalized as secret. I’d assume it’s a multiple of that for playing with his rocket alone.
Link is in the Washington Post this morning, for now.
yeah 38B was just publicly known. The hidden payouts are perhaps much more.

The Trump administration moved forward Wednesday with its plans to conduct large-scale layoffs across agencies, the latest move to downsize the federal workforce.
The Office of Management and Budget and the Office of Personnel Management issued a memo to agency leaders with guidance on how to conduct their reductions in force, known as RIFs, and the reorganizations plans, taking another step to carry out President Donald Trump’s executive order entitled “Implementing The President’s ‘Department of Government Efficiency’ Workforce Optimization Initiative.”
The memo comes as the Trump administration is conducting a multi-pronged effort to overhaul federal operations and shed employees. In less than six weeks, it has laid off tens of thousands of probationary workers, placed other employees on administrative leave, offered a deferred resignation package and ordered staffers to return to the office full time.
The moves, along with a confusing weekend demand that staffers list their activities of the past week, have ratcheted up the anxiety levels of many federal workers, who until now had felt they had some job security. The federal government has not conducted a widespread reduction in force since the Clinton administration in the 1990s.
According to Wednesday’s memo, the principles to guide the agencies include conducting “a significant reduction” in the number of federal workers by eliminating positions that are not needed and reducing federal property holdings and budget, as well as providing better service to Americans and increasing productivity, according to the memo.
It’s the least boomer can do after he bought his house for 60 k and it went up into the millions. Oh, and kept kicking the deficit into the stratosphere all of these years. In fact, they should bill boomer for the entire amount of the deficit they caused by crying for lower taxes since the 1960’s.
BTW the exit tax? Increase on the exiting 1% assessment for homes purchased above $1 million to 2%, and home purchased for more than $2 million increase to 3%.
My neighbors are crying about their natural gas bills.
Well, when you take American Natural Gas, Liquefy it, and ship it to Europe, you now have some new competition for the product you used to receive at a fair price.
Ronald Reagan should have minded his own business with the pipelines in Ukraine, and breaking up the Soviet Union.
Coke sniffing Biden and pals should have not gotten involved with the Ukrainian gas companies. No wonder they all pardoned each other.
And America should mind it’s own business and stay out of Europe.
Electricity is generated with gas.
Good thing is, you can still purchase large tubes of off brand KY Jelly for a buck at the Dollar Store. Maybe stock up now and get a few, your government has a big dick it is going to ram you with.

The real shame of it all is that none of this would have happened if the Dems simply practiced what they preached. Now we have the boneheads grifting at astonishing levels while driving the car off a cliff.
“May you live in interesting times” is an English expression that is claimed to be a translation of a traditional Chinese curse. The expression is ironic: “interesting” times are usually times of trouble.
President Donald Trump warned that one million or more federal employees are now “on the bubble” because of their failure to respond to an email demanding they justify their jobs.
In a wild monologue during a Cabinet meeting Tuesday, the president jumped in after Elon Musk responded to a question from a pool reporter about the fates of those who failed to respond to the email sent Saturday by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) — which asked federal employees to list five bulletpoints of items they accomplished in the last week. Despite having previously warned federal employees that failure to respond would be considered a resignation, Musk softened his position — in response to the pool reporter asking whether those million-plus employees who blew off the email demand would be terminated.
“We’re going to send another email,” Musk said. “But our goal is not to be capricious or unfair. We want to give people every opportunity to send an email. And the email could simply be ‘What I’m working on is too sensitive or classified to describe.’ Like, literally just that would be sufficient. You know, I think this is just common sense.”
My friend’s parents from Flushing used to say “may you rive in intelesting times”…

Treasury note at a measly 4.x rate?
Is not the firing. But how they are doing it. There is a legal process. They are purposely ignoring and running rough shot because “I’m the king”.
If the Kingdom becomes reality because of SCOTUS or just because the king ignores the decisions and does what he wants it will fly.
However, if we go back to the rule of law. Then between the unions and individuals legal actions it will end up in Board that decides that. Presently there is no board as he got rid of them. At that time non-probationary employees and those false RIF, because the king is planning to hire Heritage approved people in the summer and anyone else who ever filed claims is likely to get job back with back pay and benefits.
That of course if we do have the rule of law back and not OrangeTurd law. Simon Bolivar created a short lived United States of South America. He could not make it last and made the statement that it takes angels to make it work. Well, got our little demon.

Alright my blogfriends. This may be proof of the absolute stupidity of MAGA leadership. Now they are not just firing people. They are killing people now too.
Contrary to popular belief, Medicare does not pay for long-term care, although it will pay for temporary stays in a skilled-nursing facility under certain circumstances.
So what sort of costs are we talking about? A private room in a nursing home costs an average $117,000 a year, the researchers report. A room in an assisted-living facility costs $64,000 a year, and home health aides cost an average of $75,000 a year.
The cost of a room in a nursing home has doubled in the last 20 years and has consistently been rising faster than the general rate of inflation.
The Boston College researchers commissioned a survey of over 500 middle-class Americans ages 48 to 78 who had at least $100,000 in investible assets, in addition to real estate and other assets. Just 33% were worried about the issue of long-term care.
“When asked what alternatives they would consider if they could not afford their healthcare expenses, over 60% said they would consider spending down to Medicaid, while only 30% said they would consider using their home equity or moving in with their children,” the research found.
The answer is especially revealing. Under current rules, you may not have to give up your home in order to qualify for Medicaid. (The rules vary by state. An elder-law attorney can advise you.)
Lib – I have one we aren’t going to grow flu vaccines thr old fashioned way in eggs.
Next Flu shot will come from a DJT licensing partnership with Pfizer for the all new Trump flu vaccine.. it will be Bigly beautiful cure for the flu @ only $499.99 a shot with no copay. You will be cured with no more than four or maybe five shots annually..
6:57, Of course you can. It’s called managed growth and regulation. It requires not just an educated leader – which we cannot expect from Trump, and a rank-and-file that believes in science. Neither of which we have. In fact, what we have heading these federal units is people who actively work against the common good. In olden days, it used to be called “evil”. Now, it’s just MAGA.
Unfortunately what I said above will be construed as bias when it is nothing but a fact.
“These weren’t MAGA people, as that did not even come about until 2016 ”
No these were the Tea Party people. This was the start of MAGA. Bonehead needed to kill that movement back then, but the Party of No worked for him. Until it didnt and they drove the Tea Party Bus over him.
“Well, when you take American Natural Gas, Liquefy it, and ship it to Europe, you now have some new competition for the product you used to receive at a fair price.”
If only people had complained about that Keystone Pipeline they built to achieve exactly that

Coach class people almost died so the rich business fuccers can get to their meetings. Came close this time.
Speaking of taxi speed, if the Flexjet had been taxiing slower the SWA crew would have thought “oh yeah he’s gonna hold short” and continued/been further along, maybe even touching down when FJ crossed 31C. As it was the SWA crew saw a bizjet hauling ass on the taxiway and were thinking, “Oh #### is this dude gonna stop.” IOW they were spring-loaded to go around, which was a good thing.
No misinterpretation. My education is high enough to fully comprehend what the dotard said. Is yours?
At a CNN town hall in May 2023, Trump said: “They’re dying, Russians and Ukrainians. I want them to stop dying. And I’ll have that done — I’ll have that done in 24 hours.” He said that would happen after he met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin. And he keeps repeating the claim on the campaign trail.
On the measles outbreak and shitshow that is MAGA leadership.
Social media is full of falsehoods—including from the HHS Secretary himself. Today, Secretary Kennedy briefly addressed the outbreak, but we caught three major inaccuracies:
Yes, this is an unusual year. RFK Jr. incorrectly said there’s “nothing unusual; we have measles outbreaks every year.” First, there’s nothing normal about a child dying from measles. Also, this year’s tally has already surpassed 8 out of the past 15 years’ annual measles counts. (See graph below.) We are only 1.5 months into 2025. Finally, we have only had 4 outbreaks with more than 100 cases in the past 10 years. West Texas is now on the list. Instead, Kennedy should publicly state his support for MMR vaccines. (Which he hasn’t.)
Those hospitalized are due to troubled breathing, not quarantining like he incorrectly said. None of the hospitalized cases are vaccinated.
There has been one death so far. He incorrectly said there have been two deaths. I don’t know how you get that wrong.
Vaccines are like insurance. It works well for the population when everyone gets it – or at least the vast majority. It also keeps the cost of production down (economies of scale).
Trump doesn’t get it. MAGA doesn’t get it. RFK certainly doesn’t.
I was talking to my 80 yo mom the other day, and she said she ain’t taking it. She doesn’t listen to me unfortunately.

See my post from last night.
Elon waving a chainsaw. It’s not a show for the morons.

American women terrorizing others in another country:
A newborn baby died after an American tourist threw the infant out of a hotel window moments after giving birth, local police report.
The 18-year-old mother allegedly threw her baby from the second floor of an Ibis Styles hotel ‘with the umbilical cord’, authorities said.
Emergency services took the baby to the Robert-Debre hospital after witnesses reported the harrowing scenes around 6am this morning.
The Paris prosecutor’s office told Le Parisien that the child did not survive the fall and succumbed to injuries.
An investigation has been opened for ‘homicide of a minor under 15,’ the city’s public prosecutor told the outlet.
The office said that the mother was ‘part of a group of young adults travelling in Europe’.
Can the newly appointed Deputy FBI director get FBI clearance?
Destroying the FBI in such an open fashion, for our enemies to watch, is suicidal.
I wonder what percentage of MAGA is having second thoughts?
Microsoft pulling back on AI investment is interesting. What do they know we don’t? Co-pilot not getting enough adoption from the customer base?
With a lot of products – customers are just getting forced to use AI and pay more even when the results are sub par.
Subscription is the new tax. When the tech overlords decide to tax you, what choice do you have?
It’s the only reason Trump is in it.
ads. Sorry.

3:48 that’s one narrative. But how much do you really know about an ocean of abuse? How much do you really know about government in general?

Of course we all believe in shrinking the size of government
Not true
Lobbyist Grover Norquist is a well-known proponent of the strategy and has famously said, “My goal is to cut government in half in twenty-five years, to get it down to the size where we can drown it in the bathtub.”
Our goal is to inflict pain. It is not good enough to win; it has to be a painful and devastating defeat. We’re sending a message here. It is like when the king would take his opponent’s head and spike it on a pole for everyone to see.

Nice work Donny.
At what point does the MAGA cult realize it’s a show?
That’s right, MAGA can do no wrong!
Why is CNN, MSNBC, NBC and CBS whacking so many of their anchors and hosts?
The war is over. Russia won. Thank you MAGA. We now belong to Putin.
There is no modern MLK, no Gandhi. The coup was a clean sweep.
Any opposition leader can be silenced with a nod to Patel.
News channels’ first amendment rights are silenced by Trump’s judges.
We now belong to Putin.
If you go to the state run markets by 6:00 AM, you can get the best blueberries! That’s an inside tip.
Denial is but a phase Eddy. You may now call yourself Eddyevich.

Juice, sorry for the son’s injury. Hope he gets better soon.
Chad, looks like the left party got the most youth vote. Do the Deutsch Jugend behave similar to our Gen-Z, pressured under a lot of economic and social stress?
“If you go to the state run markets by 6:00 AM, you can get the best blueberries! ”
This is funny because this was pretty much my youth in the Polish Peoples Republic. That and ration cards to buy toilet paper and meat.
Good morning, comrades. I assume everyone is breaking in their state-issued shirts and trousers? Or skirts for you amalgamated chaps.
Anyway, it’s another beautiful day and another step towards truth, justice and the American way.
“Anyway, it’s another beautiful day and another step towards truth, justice and the American way.”
If you are a white Christian male. Everyone else can go fuck off.
Stu: Something pertinent fact is missing from that story and you know it.
Aome
Some. Fuck!
If you are a white Christian male.
I don’t have blue eyes, though.
Like brown M&Ms, I’m not always welcomed.
Lib, all those actions are performed by bureaucrats that have been there for years, if not decades. Do you think it was a working order issued 4 weeks ago that made them do this? None of your beloved agencies function properly and they’ve really stopped in the past 10 years.
Isn’t “Aome” a new ace relief pitcher for the Mets?
Aome Álvarez, I believe.
Ten 432
My grammar was off above, but you get what I was saying.
Ten 430
Juice,
Some people don’t want citizenship. I don’t blame them.
Play stupid games win stupid prizes.
Whoa, stupid games?!!
Juice – this is not a game and not everything is black and white like small brains like to think of it as.
I gave you two examples of why a person may not want to take on US citizenship. There are countless legitimate other reasons.
Market crashing.
Nice work Donald.
Are you all enjoying shitshow?
How much better are you today than you were a month ago?
Rent – The immigration judge will probably think the same as I do your your argument sucks because well Trinidad and Tobago allows dual citizenship as does the USA.
When you enter the port you can be denied entry if you are not a citizen or have a criminal record, you can be declared entering the country legally. It really is the law and that simple.
I think that chef got poor advice from friends and family on this one. Should have checked with a lawyer and perhaps not left town when King Trump is on the throne.
Juice,
You are making excuses. I know MAGA can do no Wrong.
These are not criminals. Just hard working people caught in the crossfire of a party that gets off on hate. You know, the classic America that Gary alludes to all the time. Where people went to Church on Sunday and men kept their women in place and black people were slaves.
You know guys.
Lib is right.
Sorry.
Y’all trust law enforcement and their databases a wee bit too much.
NYPD cop suspended after pummeling 14-year-old girl during after-school fight: ‘Supposed to be breaking it up
Rent,
Doesn’t America now tax you when you want to leave the country?
Are their any buses boarding headed to Boston? With a load of Tetley and Lipton?
How much better are you today than you were a month ago?
When did you transition to gambling from investing?
America currently only has the sniffles. Y’all think it’s just a cold right now. Some suspect it’s a bit more.

The flu? Or leukemia?

Rent – That is strike two.
You are breaking the law if you do not declare the foreign income. Green Card holders are indeed required to report their worldwide income to the IRS. There is no box to check on IRS Form 1040 that says your citizenship status makes you exempt. Your residency determines your tax paying and filing by law.
DJT in the 23s and $trump coin at 13.
You guys see crypto?
LIb,
The dems didn’t just suck, they called a legal hit on Trump.
So here we are. Constitution shredding time.
I predicted this. Boomers, you did this ^^^^^
Juice,
NJ is the most corrupt state in the country! Again, there’s no will to fix it. By either party. I actually hope NJ turns red. Not that it will get any better if it’s MAGA red, but the Dems in NJ clearly don’t get it.
Juice, you are Frank Dixon from The Terminal. Exactly him. Don’t forget to watch it if you haven’t already.
The common theme is – people who lack humanity hide behind “process” and obscure laws to justify their own biases.
Phoenix,
Yes they did.
10:51 geezus you’re stupid.
Lib – re: Crypto — Portnoy and MILEI might have killed Solana.
Juice,
I don’t even believe in deportation of anyone unless they are criminals.
Only morons invest in things that have no value.
Are you calling Cumella voters m0rons?
Plenty of Pumpkins on both sides of the aisle Gary.
I never shilled for Harris. Remember? Said she was unqualified and called for Biden to step down after his 2nd State of the Union. Gator can confirm.
You still loving the big show that belongs under the big top?
Enjoy, 11:22 – which bank is that?
Can we withdraw in Rubles yet?
11:44,
The fact is, we will never know if supporters of Kamala Harris are morons.
Even with the backlog, there is some paperwork that allows people in limbo to stay in the country legally.
That process is being eliminated by the current administration – if you can call it that!
Lib —> They might need to get a real job now.

They are wearing crosses. Jesus will save them.
Good thing Eddie didn’t fly on southwest, that was a close call about an hour ago
Small, 1:00 –
Killing the goose that lats golden eggs will give temporary gains. Long run, everything is gone.
For example why would destroy rid of the most profitable org – IRS?
Here you go Smalls.

RentLord,
The bank is Everbank.
Now This: https://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow/watch/democrats-not-immune-from-voter-wrath-as-pressure-to-impede-trump-mounts-232839749757
Trump skimmed off a charity so badly, he’s not ever allowed to run another one.
I rest my case.
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-46611178
Rightfully so LAX 2:12.
Where is our MLK or Gandhi?
I don’t see Obama arranging a march? I see no walk to capitol hill. And the protests are just photo ops if anything.
We need brave leaders on the democratic side.
That said, with FBI and Secret Service now compromised, what chance do the Obamas or Clintons or anyone else have a chance to lead a protest? With a wink or a nod they would be pushed off a tall building like the KGB does.
2:45, no need. He has meme coins and suckers to buy em. Running a fake charity is more work.
Totally agree. Maddow is a great thinker and knows history. The electoral college is a death knell for democracy. It’ll ensure that flyover country controls the gubmint from here on out.
We need brave leaders on the democratic side.

Cripple Biden crippled the dem get to vote organizations altogether. Pathetic party. But won’t happen again that easily.
4:15.. wow! We knew Musk and Trump played dirty. This is great forensics to prove it.
I hope this guy doesn’t fall off a building accidentally.
Njtownhomer,
Before you explode.
5:13 Imbecile. I’d attend a meetup just so I could kick you in the face.
So, every european country including UK would cut aid to the poorest of the poor, just to offset a portion to extra defense spending. All because US wants it that way.

Rentlord
Anyone have product recommendations for car dash cams? I want to have them installed on 4 cars.
Don’t buy the ones that the cops use. They always seem to fail whenever a cop is involved in a crime.
Who do we blame the measles outbreak on? Hmmmm.
What age are the people getting measles? Maybe the CDC should adopt of policy of not lying to the general public to gain their trust.

BRT, the age doesn’t matter. They are all unvaccinated and Trunp has made one of the loudest antivaxxers the leader of healthcare in our country.
It fits the MAGA bill. Maybe we can shoot up some chickens with bleach? What would the MyPillow Guy do?
Lib – if you missed a Covid vaccination then you are unvaccinated. Since 2021 that would be somewhere around 9 shots?
How many did you get?
Juice, I have not missed a Covid shot yet. You’re arguing with the wrong guy. I also never miss my flu shot. I have not had the flu since 1998.
10:09 same. Of course I work in a petri dish. Juice is a fucking Trumper.
9:33 at least we have minds.
Trump will screw every white trash imbecile that voted for him.
There is blame here to be place, and it doesn’t rest on Trump or RFK.
btw, what the hell are you doing talking about shots to some random person at Costco? Get the fucking hot dog and be happy.
Juice, I have not missed a Covid shot yet. You’re arguing with the wrong guy. I also never miss my flu shot. I have not had the flu since 1998.
I can set you up for a monkeypox shot if you are interested
re: ” I have not had the flu since 1998. ”
I haven’t had it either and I don’t get the flu vaccines.
It’s effectiveness is actually pretty low.
averages from the CDC

2022 30%
2021 36%

You would rather double down.
“administrator of a large organization”

All the new tariffs are starting soon too. Hope the customs office got that memo too.
Apparently Americans don’t deserve clean air. Clean Air act being repealed. Closely followed by clean water act repeal as well.
And we will grant “Gold” cards.. for any Vas, Dong and Hari that has $5 M
Is this what MAGA wanted?
Libturd,
This morning listening to Bloomberg, there was a juxtaposition of ideas by different guests that clarified things for me.
And one more grim news –

“Is this what MAGA wanted?”
Certainly wanted to get rid of the perverted trannies and other freaks that the Dems allowed to trash our once-reliable institutions and agencies. You would’ve thought the Dems might learn from Sam Brinton, the dress-stealing tranny that SlowJoe put in charge of nuclear waste disposal. But apparently not, as a hundred or more other freaks in the intelligence community were still openly using internal communication channels to brag about their perversions. Fired as of last night; we should all be happy.
The vaccines usually halve the recovery time if you do get the infliction
This was never proven, it’s just a talking point. And given that everyone has had multiple previous infections, it’s now impossible to prove.
BRT,
You believe what ever unproven thing you want to, I’ll waste my time with vaccines.
This is good enough for me. You do what you want.
Libturd

And it’s impossible lt prove it didn’t. Guess we shouldn’t have used them, hey maybe Social Security would still be solvent today.
Another beautiful, sunny day! How are all you miserable, filthy, dirty animals doing this morning?

Question: Do we want inflation or recession? We need a recession to bring down inflation. Is there another way?
Did I say exit tax? I meant the purchaser pays more…aka Mansion purchaser tax it’s now 2% and 3%. The exit tax I believe remains the same. If you sell your home you have to pay 8.97 percent of the profit/capital gain on it to the state of New Jersey.
My comment got stuck in moderation… sanitized it:
9:37 small, What’s your obsession with sh3males? Don’t let them distract you from the biger things happening, which was the point of my post.
This is past the pissing game
From the NJ budget report marijuana business was around $1 billion in 2024 alone.
The state collected about 90 million in taxes and fees.
That rate seems pretty low to me 9%? Shouldn’t it be much much higher? I don’t see it on the sin tax increases this year either.
I know all there is to know about the crying game…..
Don’t want no more of the crying game…

Juice-
There are degrees of being “unqualified”.

“Full transparency day after day.”

Bezos has bent the knee to King Trump….
Jeff”
The issue with these Billionaires’ view of freedom and personal liberties is that it means putting a jackboot on my neck and making me their slave.
F them.

It’s morning again in America…
– Companies and gov institutions abandoning the insane, divisive policies of the Oblama/Biden Dems
– Southern border completely secure (less than 200 apprehensions per day)
– Illegal alien felons being rounded up and deported
– Cease-fire and hostage releases in the middle east
– War in Europe being wound down
– Gov waste and fraud being exposed every day
Amazing!!!
You are easily impressed. Oh yeah, you are in a cult…
2:17 On the government teet…..

My BIL owed most of it to NJ!
That 38 Billion that Elon sucked off of the government is just based on the info that is publicly available. Doesn’t include DOD, NSA, CIA, etc that is compartmentalized as secret. I’d assume it’s a multiple of that for playing with his rocket alone.

Nvidia earnings looked okay, but not blockbusting. Let’s see their projections.
Dude gets style points for the leather jackets though…..

Elect a clown. Get a circus.
I suppose I’ll be able to get a British vaccine. If those aren’t banned by this administration.
Alternative to long term care? A bullet in the brain.
” but when the FDA’s panel convened on whether to approve them for ages 5 and under,”
Out of interest, where are you on the standard vaccine schedule for the under 5’s?
6:57, Of course you can. It’s called managed growth and regulation. It requires not just an educated leader – which we cannot expect from Trump, and a rank-and-file that believes in science. Neither of which we have. In fact, what we have heading these federal units is people who actively work against the common good. In olden days, it used to be called “evil”. Now, it’s just MAGA.
Unfortunately what I said above will be construed as bias when it is nothing but a fact.
We cannot put contaminants back on the shelf.

When is Trumsky going to end the Russia/Ukraine war like he promised?
9:14 He’s trying!! But first he has to loot Ukraine
That’s a loaded question but it’s also based off of gross misinterpretations of what he said. Lay off the nbc and just watch raw uncut videos.
I’m still waiting for Jordan and Egypt to take in the Gazan’s. Hamas and all.
It’s all one big show.
Gary, it appears you are going to have to take care of your parents going forward.
BRT,
You cool with cancelling the flu vaccine meeting?
We have a massive education problem. And it’s not just in America. Social media is dumbing us down.
Turn on The Masked Singer for a gauge of our intelligence.
Even the turbo cancer moron at Costco thought the flu vaccine was okay.
