From the Dallas Fed:
Growth continues in Texas manufacturing sector, but outlooks worsen
Texas factory activity continued to rise in April, according to business executives responding to the Texas Manufacturing Outlook Survey. The production index, a key measure of state manufacturing conditions, was largely unchanged at 5.1, a reading indicative of modest growth.
Other measures of manufacturing activity signaled contraction, however. The new orders index plummeted 20 points to -20.0. The capacity utilization index edged down to -3.8, and the shipments index fell into negative territory for the first time this year, slipping to -5.5 from 6.1.
Perceptions of broader business conditions continued to worsen notably in April. The general business activity index fell 20 points to -35.8, its lowest reading since May 2020. The company outlook index also retreated to a postpandemic low of -28.3. The outlook uncertainty index pushed up 11 points to 47.1.
Labor market measures suggested a slight decrease in head counts and shorter workweeks this month. The employment index held fairly steady at -3.9, with 9 percent of firms noting net hiring and 13 percent noting net layoffs. The hours worked index slipped to -6.4 from -2.9.
Price pressures accelerated in April, while wage growth remained fairly stable. The raw materials prices index jumped 11 points to 48.4, its highest reading since mid-2022. The finished goods prices index rose nine points to 14.9, a reading well above average. Meanwhile, the wages and benefits index held mostly steady at 14.3, below its average reading.
Expectations for manufacturing activity six months from now remained mixed. The future production index was positive but retreated 13 points to 14.8, while the future general business activity index pushed further negative to -15.2. Most other indexes of future manufacturing activity remained positive but slipped further below average.
From the Kansas Fed:
Tenth District Manufacturing Declined Modestly in April
Tenth District manufacturing activity fell modestly, and expectations for future activity cooled but remained expansionary (Chart 1, Tables 1 & 2). Prices paid for raw materials increased this month while finished product prices ticked down, further constraining profit margins.
The month-over-month composite index was -4 in April, down from -2 in March and up from -5 in February (Tables 1 & 2). The composite index is an average of the production, new orders, employment, supplier delivery time, and raw materials inventory indexes. The nondurable manufacturing sector continued to drive the declines, particularly food and print manufacturing. Most month-over-month indexes were negative, but a few improved from last month’s readings. The production index ticked down from 1 to -5 while the new orders index was mostly unchanged. Most year-over-year indexes were negative, with the exception of the supplier delivery time and inventory indexes. The capital expenditures index fell into negative territory after increasing slightly last month. The future composite index eased from 10 to 6 in April as expectations for production, shipments, and new orders all decreased.

Canada Prime Minister Mark Carney warned that Donald Trump is ‘trying to break us so that America can own us’ in his victory speech after his Liberals won the federal election Monday.
The Liberal Party is projected to continue to rule Canada after being declared winner of Monday’s elections, though it is unclear if it will be a minority or majority government.
In a speech in Ottawa in the late hours after his victory was secured, he took dead aim at Trump with a dark premonition, claiming to be preparing ‘for the worst.’
‘As I’ve been warning for months, America wants our land, our water, our resources, our country… never,’ he promised.
Carney said these were not ‘idle threats,’ adding: ‘President Trump is trying to break us so that America can own us.’
‘That will never, ever happen. But we also must recognize the reality that our world has fundamentally changed,’ he said to applause.

What amazes me most is how the human thought process works. Women that admire men that beat them. Others that vote for guys like Trump who are rich beyond belief and yet the average peasant in America thinks he is trying to help them. Then there are those that believe there is a magical man making all of their life decisions for them, and others that are evil and use the magical man as cover against those that actually believe.
Aint no magical man looking out for that deer you just flattenend on the highway. It’s an organism that, through genetics, was born a deer and doesn’t understand what a car is.

President Donald Trump’s first 100 days in office have been marked by sweeping changes and the fulfillment of campaign promises, such as stemming the tide of illegal immigration, cutting wasteful government spending, and enacting legislation that protects women and girls in sports.
And as his second term has rolled out, Trump has not minced words when it comes to faith, taking steps to show that this administration will be one that honors the Lord.
From opening his first cabinet meeting with prayer, to issuing a bold faith-filled Easter declaration, to holding a White House staff worship service during Holy Week, to establishing the White House Faith Office closer to the West Wing, the president has displayed his faith as a “beacon on a hill.”
Similarly, the White House marked the upcoming conclusion of his first 100 days in office by inviting nearly 100 faith leaders on the grounds to pray and worship Jesus.
“And Saint Attila raised the hand grenade up on high, saying, ‘O Lord, bless this thy hand grenade, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy.’ And the Lord did grin. And the people did feast upon the lambs, and sloths, and carp, and anchovies, and orangutans, and breakfast cereals, and fruit bats, and large chulapas…
“And the Lord spake, saying, ”First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.’

It’s a stunning humiliation for Poilievre, who had an over 90 percent chance of becoming prime minister back in January.
Poilievre, a career politician, campaigned with Trump-like bravado, even taking a page from the ‘America First’ president by adopting the slogan ‘Canada First.’
But his similarities to Trump may have ultimately cost him and his party in Monday’s election, as the nation rallied behind the liberals after president Trump launched a campaign against the Canadian government.
One of my customers is Catholic Health systems. Originally a very conservative group and over time with acquisitions are now quite open minded. They still start a lot of meetings with a reflection. Long story short, they have progressed well. And with over $30 billion in revenues doing quite well.
But this administration is so backwards in thinking that there is no good that can come out of it. Elections cannot come sooner.

Every Chic-fil-A sandwich has to embed higher minimum wages (and the effect on all lower-wage pay) as well as social security, medicare, etc, plus the cost of feeding and raising the chickens, a lot of which ties to energy and transport costs.
Cooking at home, you don’t have to pay taxes or social security/medicare on your time spent.
Back in the 50s through 80s, people made casseroles with relatively cheap ingredients. Lots of molded gelatin salads too. I kind of miss those dishes from the pot-lucks of the older generation. If you have more money than time, sure go to Chic-fil-A and spend over $10 per person. If you have more time than money, consider making and packing your own sandwiches. A PB&J costs under $1 per unit.

Anyway, the Republican party has no coherent system of beliefs, mirroring their current leader. I don’t know their next step, post Trump.

On food costs. Kid is home from college and he says, he doesn’t know if he he wants to put 4K into his ROTH again this year because the other 4K he makes is barely enough to cover his non-529 expenses throughout the school year. So we look over his credit card statements for the past two years. As expected, it’s mostly fast food/pizza/wawa subs and sizzli’s. So I see his average spend is between $10 and $15. He is moving into an apartment so we plan to do the commuter meal plan which is like 5 swipes a week at like $8 a swipe. His apartment has a to-die-for kitchen, so no excuses. He is rooming with three frat kids so it’s really a modern place with everything. I quickly went over our cost of dinner for five of us from yesterday. We had hot dogs, hamburgers and corn on the cobb.
$2.50 = 3 hotdogs and rolls
$8.00 = 5 burgers and rolls
$1.25 = 5 ears of corn
$2.00 = 5 leafs of romaine, a tomato, red onion and pickle chips
$1.25 = kraut, ketchup and mustard, 5 slices of american cheese
We all drink water at home.
So for about $15, we fed 5 people at $3/head a really yummy meal.
I told him, our average dinner costs between $15 and $25 to feed 5 people. He is spending that much to feed one. If he cooks his meals at home, he can easily put away another 4K. Then I showed him an interest calculator on the internet to show him how that 8K will be worth 140K when he is 50 years old. If he saves 4K a year every year until he is 50, thats 800K and over 2 million when he is 60 years old. I managed to save 15K a year between ages 25 and 30. When I’m 60, that alone will be worth 1.5 million. He gets it. He agreed to put in 4K of his 8K RBT pay at the end of the Summer. For me, that 15K was the difference between driving a $13K Civic and a $28K Accord. Easy decision. Today, most kids drive the Accord.

My daughter, now that she’s earning a salary and paying her bills in her own apartment, she suddenly realizes that she’s going to drink her coffee at the office or make her own matcha at home, after she calculated how much $ a daily trip to Starbucks was going to cost her. Partly health too, she’s got a target for grams of protein per meal, and she can see how restaurants charge through the nose for protein, mostly marking up empty carbs fillers to the customer. She doesn’t have a Costco membership of her own, but is happy to come with us and fill a cooler with $200 of chicken & beef to take home and cook it herself over the next couple of months.
Trump, representing traditional America, is held to a much higher standard. It’s a tall order not because of policy but because of the headwinds facing a hostile media and majority of s0cial platforms. This administration is expected to bat 1.000 where a .120 batting average for the left is considered historic. Progressive conservatives are kneecapped and then expected to run a marathon. The soft and torpid types would finger point, lash out and sue. Traditional Americans would churn forward despite the obstacles.

Speaking of home economics, my wife (from China) asked if Americans have ever heard of a vegetable called celtuce. It’s pretty common in her hometown of Chengdu.
Well, have you guys heard of it? I told her no, Americans haven’t ever eaten this. Even authentic Chinese restaurants in the US rarely serve it. Not every Asian grocery sells it.
Anyway, its one of our favorite vegetables. And a recently opened Asian store near us in Florida has been stocking it. I’d bet only BRT on here knows about it.
Makes for a great stir fry, and can also be eaten raw as a salad, using salt, sesame oil, and a little vinegar as dressing.
This is a good recipe for using it as a stir fry. Except I’d substitute the dried and raw peppers with Chinese mildly-hot pickled peppers.

Race division is a product of your side… probably one of the few things where liberals excel. And any economic resentment on the correct side of the isle is due to providing a never-ending support line. The human eye can identify 20,000 colors and the left intends to disguise their petulance in every one of them. VSG,
I could out-hustle you even if I was dead. I loaded trucks, drove trucks, mixed cement, installed storm and sanitary systems, painted and cleaned public bathrooms, worked in restaurant kitchens, worked in gas stations, warehouses and pick/pack facilities. I am the Mike Rowe of this blog. I’m seeing retirement from my current career in two years and intend to return to blue collar jobs. What’s your resume?
Hauled rocks, dirt and bricks and dug ditches by hand, operated front loaders and back hoes, hauled lumber. I still probably missed a few others.
Chi,
Just teaching him the ways. And believe me, it will take him far. A lot of families would have been wiped out financially by the catastrophic illness the D suffered. Not too many Americans have an extra half a million lying around. If my parents did raise me the way they did, we would have been wiped. The college kid won’t own a penny of debt after obtaining his doctorate and he will have paid for it all with his OWN money. What percentage of the population (especially the non-minority and not-dependant on gubmint handouts) can say that? Probably less than the number of transgender athletes batting for the wrong team. My kid is spoiled plenty. We love each other to the extreme and there are no taboo topics or hidden secrets. He comes to me for advice on everything. He’s really a special kid. But he is plenty still a kid. And he will do very well for himself, like his dad did, through his frugality, hard work, savings and investment. He both knows the value of ditch diggers and how not end up being one. He will also be responsible for managing the D. It’s a lot of weight on the average kid’s shoulders. He is up for the task. I hope one day you can meet him. As much as your Forest Gump son is impressive, I think you would be wowed by this guy as well.

You missed a few — deliberately of course, since you’re a sore loser and support the crazy Dems who stand for open borders, illegal alien criminals and government waste and fraud — and despise law-abiding, tax-paying citizens…
– freed 75% of living hostages in Gaza
– secured the southern border
– arrested/deported thousands of illegal alien criminals (despite corrupt Dem judges)
– secured first/free Panama Canal passage for US warships (and will soon likely secure US ownership of Canal ports)
– massively improved military recruiting
– dropped the hammer on colleges that tolerate antisemitism
Just curious, what kind of cheap labor exists in Canada, Japan, Germany, all of Western Europe?
I’m really tired of Trump. He’s an incompetent braindead dotard.
1:05 You’re still a moron.
12:02 Does it keep her Hawwwwney??
What can we seriously do to stop affordable housing mandate which drives over development in our beautiful state? Has to be something we can do…
1:44 – none of that affects you positively. In fact you are so dumb that you don’t realize that most of the policies you listed are negative for you.
Love it or hate it, the recent rally by AOC and Sanders received a crowd of 35,000. In comparison an average Trump rally only attracted 5,000 people.
Canada overwhelmingly voted to be liberal – in spite of the risks they saw to the economy with more liberal policies.
Trump’s approval ratings are at its lowest and the corruption is at the highest. There is a big liberal wave coming – if we can only survive the grift until elections.
Fast Eddie – thanks for sharing where your incompetence, bias and lack of critical thinking comes from. Makes a lot of sense. You should have focussed more on school than dumb jobs.
1:56 – stop reproducing?
What can we seriously do to stop affordable housing mandate which drives over development in our beautiful state? Has to be something we can do…
Allow more market-rate housing to be built.
You should have focussed more on school than dumb jobs.
First of all, you should learn how to spell and secondly, apologize to all the fathers and grandfathers that worked “dumb” jobs to create the greatest country in history. That sentence above made the top ten dumbest, fucking statements since the inception of this blog.
Oh, and just for shits and giggles, I got an engineering degree.
Yup.
“I got” an engineering degree, is not exactly proper grammar.
:P
Did you ever use your engineering degree? Or did it come with a free hat ?
Ruff! :P
Now this: Trump’s first 100 days in office are worst for stock market in half a century
Pumpkin,
You little 1 generation removed from convicted criminal little wannabe snob.
What do you have against the lesser people? You just saw the skill set that Fat Eddie learned when he was in a prison gang. Small Con would probably show you the macaroni paintings he made in his special ed tranny class, as you know he’s 70 and in 3rd grade.
But, to answer your question. Let the market rule in real estate. I don’t mean build everywhere. I mean take away all the special tax deductions like 1031 and others. You will get a real market with real return and no tax games.
Fellow Americans,
If you look at the language of Trump’s latest EO to strengthen the amount of force to be used to evict immigrants, it’s NAZI Germany scary. Like backing the police with military force. Non-lethal, until someone fucks up. This is MAGA.
President Donald Trump warned Americans in 2024 that a vote for Vice President Kamala Harris would be a vote for a market meltdown.
“You want to see a market crash? If we lost this election, I think the market would go down the tubes,” Trump said at a Pennsylvania rally in late October.
Weeks earlier, Trump confidently predicted that if he lost, “the result will be a Kamala economic crash, a 1929-style depression.”
Trump won the election, but he may have been right about a crash occurring after the election.
2:41 Trump is power hungry. He also wants to shoot protestors.

I’ve never heard of or seen celtuce before, and I’m in Asian grocery stores a few times a month. It looks interesting. Can you get garlic stems in Florida? I only see those once in awhile in Dallas area.
How much force will they use on me if I try to run through the immigrations/customs lines at the Newark Airport? Is it fair for them to use more on me, an actual US citizen, than they would use on someone actually breaking immigration laws?
I’m pro-immigration, pro-immigrant, but I do think that it’s crazy that the system for rule-followers totally sucks (tons of bureaucracy, waiting, and a lack of communication, and great difficulty for skilled professionals to come and earn their living legally) while the total rule-breakers are given tons of love by the left and shipped into the country to disappear if they wish, or to live of the taxpayer if they wish.
I remember a long time ago in 2007 GWB and Rubio tried to negotiate a bipartisan bill to deal with the biggest immigration debates (“Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2007), but the Conservative talk show hosts hated it and basically killed it. Republicans have been running spitefully against immigrants ever since, while Democrats have grown progressively more aggressive about promoting ever-increasing volumes of illegal immigrants.
Amazon: Tariffs are making things more expensive.
White House: No they aren’t.
Amazon: *shows prices with tariffs*
White House: This is a hostile and political act!
HMB,
Garlic stems aka “garlic chives”? Sometimes for sale, but my family doesn’t use them. Mostly regular Chinese chives for dumpling filling. If I regularly used garlic chives I’d try growing them myself. I end up substituting chives or green onion or leeks for garlic chives when I see it in recipes.
Another rare and cool asian vegetable is nagaimo. Supposed to be quite healthy, but in the US it’s normally very expensive. Peel, slice, stir fry with salt.
When they are good, pomelo is way better than grapefruit. Sometimes I see them sold at good prices in Trader Joes, but the season is over for this year.
3:11 How’s her driving??
I love sugar pea shoots, but rarely can find them. They tend to have them when in season at authentic Chinese restaurants. So delicious.
Trump supports are mostly at work, not on the dole.

I think I’m thinking snow pea tips. They look like asparagus with leaves.
3:47 That is probably the dumbest thing I have seen posted here in a while.

Nope, not garlic chives, garlic stems. They’re crunchy and great in stir fries or mixed with scrambled eggs. They look like rope beans.

You also know very well that liberal progressive states subsidize southern maga states since the civil war

Snow pea tips are just the stems and leaves from pea plants. Get your peas in the ground by St Patty’s day. Mine are about a foot tall already, need to trellis them this weekend.
You can also grow pea tendrils (new shoots) indoors, just cut them back and they keep growing.
Garlic stems come up in the spring before the garlic is ready to be pulled. Supposed to trim it off before it flowers. Garlic is planted as a bulb in the fall, harvested early summer. I couldn’t find much to do with the stems, tried a few things but couldn’t get them to be decent. Weird texture.
Mostly planted garlic as a border to keep the critters out of the garden. That worked, but homegrown garlic wasn’t worth dealing with the drying, turning, cleaning, etc. We have large scale farms for that.

I know you like to think that hard work built the roads, but it was the visionaries, economists, scientists, and policy-makers who decided where those roads would lead. Without them, labor is just manual labor. I know it hurts your ego, but even poor countries in Africa have a lot of laborers and they did not make their country great.
And this whole anti-intellectual, anti-science policies from your lord and savior trump is going to send us back.
Virtue signaling because you’ve done “hard work”…..hilarious…..

Next up: The Vegetable in Chief: DONALD TRUMP
Fast: I have been saying that for years about many Liberals, they claim to care about the working man/ the everyday man, the truck driver, the plumber, the carpenter, the guys up on the telephone poles, the workers in Costco or Target, the sanitation guys, but there you have it. “Dumb jobs”. They have nothing but contempt and disgust for these blue collar workers, they think because they have BA/ MBA that they are superior. My Father, Uncles, Father in Law, all my friends all of our parents were hard working blue collar folks. And, many wee immigrants off the boat, no one gave them them anything.
Many Liberals hate these people, they don’t want to live with them, or socialize with them, or have their kids go to school with them. And they don’t want the Black and Hispanics blue collar folks living with them either. That is my biggest complaint with the Liberals, the faux kindness, niceness, we care about people, it is just a wrapping covering the disgust and contempt they have for these people.
That said, I don think the Republicans are necessarily any better, but they don t have that same fake-ness.
The level of pomposity and air of superiority by some on this blog is just shocking to me. I don’t ever recall in all the years seeing that before.
Speaking of congestion. I came back from NYC today, around 3:30 and Rt 4 from Teaneck to Paramus was bumper to bumper. Got off, Howland Ave bumper to bumper, took back roads to Forest Ave, bumper to bumper. I don t know what Paramus is going to look like when they finish building the over 3000 new apartments in town. It is simply getting impossible to get around Bergen Co. now. It is just one big city, combine the schools and the police departments and DPWs and be done with it. Enough of the pretending its a leafy, quiet, bucolic area.

Any of you guys ever harvest wild ramps? I’ve got a jar of them pickling in my fridge right now.

I know you like to think that hard work built the roads, but it was the visionaries, economists, scientists, and policy-makers who decided where those roads would lead.
Of course. What was I thinking. lmao! Not a finger was lifted to construct a nation. Thoughts, visions and… presto! It was done!
Lorax: I said many, not all. I won’t resort to engaging in name calling, even though you enjoy doing that if someone posts something you disagree with, and you are a self described proud Liberal. But, as a teacher and a decent human being you should call out the most ignorant, pompous, and obnoxious comment that was made in response to Fast Eddies comment about those who engage in manual labor. And, you can say what you will about Fast, but I don’t ever recall him engaging in individual name calling to posters he does not agree with. A little self reflection on your part might be helpful to you.
Dumbass
3b,
The next time I board a flight, I’m hoping one of the best DEI visionaries in the country are flying the plane. Who needs a seasoned Top Gun that can pilot the thing in his sleep? Hell no! Vibes and joy is going to get us there!
Lorax: I am sorry you are so unhappy and unfulfilled. I hope you find peace.
Pfffft
Fast: Your family members and mine the ones who were manual laborers , were simply just disposable. That’s the mindset.
As always 3b slithers around the comments of others.. with never an individual opinion or original idea. He does not have the spine to say he is MAGA, yet his views are more right wing than most folks here. So spineless that he did not even vote. And there is a Russian angle to his existence that he will never disclose.. you say one thing against Russia and he will defend his master putin.
At least Fast Eddie is transparent and we know where he stands.
Get a life bbb.
Rent: There is just no other way to say it, so I will. You are the most ignorant, arrogant, obnoxious, self important individual I think I have ever encountered. I called you on your ignorant disgusting comments, and now you are trying to wiggle out of it, with your slithers around comment. I called you on it, and the only one slithering is you like the snake you are. You said what you said , and now you won’t own it, so much for a backbone.
You accuse me of being MAGA and right wing, and yet you know nothing about any of my views on any subject. And your Putin comments are just childish like yourself. You are on here every day trying to demonstrate what a wonderful, progressive, liberal guy you are. You are constantly looking for affirmation, when you are not babbling on with your conspiracy theories, or your stupid Google buying bonds comment; that shows how clueless you are.
In closing I will note you add nothing to the intellectual discourse on this blog. You are just simply insufferable. I don’t post here much anymore, and when I do, I ignore you. I called you on that comment because it was shameful on your part.
8:02 waaaaaah waaaaaaaah – – you offend me whilst we careen toward governmental apocalypse. Cry me a fuckin river. Totally on brand though,
7:07 you wanna talk expendable? My great grandfather did 3 tours with the Czars army.
Note: he was conscripted from his village in Russia.
3b @ 6:42 PM, “I won’t resort to engage in name calling”
3b @ 8:02 PM [engages in name calling]
Lorax: You are a sad little man.
Scrap: Guilty as charged. I try not to do it. But, in that case it was called for.
Lindsey Graham
@LindseyGrahamSC
I was excited to hear that President Trump is open to the idea of being the next Pope. This would truly be a dark horse candidate, but I would ask the papal conclave and Catholic faithful to keep an open mind about this possibility!
The first Pope-U.S. President combination has many upsides. Watching for white smoke…. Trump MMXXVIII!
Pope Grab ‘em by the pussy
You should save your phony pearl clutching as well because not only does Eddie engage in individual name calling, he resorts to vitriol and hatred calling people cun+s and pu$$ies and retards. And he says the same thing about liberals as a whole which you obviously have seen before. Not sure why that’s any better. I’d much rather take an insult myself than having them directed at family, friends, colleagues. That’s much worse than calling Eddie dumber than dog$hit, which he is. You are insufferable with your broad-brush comments about liberals and non-stop false equivalencies and pretending to be some above the fray centrist.
I like to hear opinions from the other side. Not parrots echoing party narratives. Are the MAGA supporters here cool with a Pope as President?
Scrap: I don’t recall Fast ever individually engaging in name calling to any posters here. As opposed to some of the liberal posters here. As for me being centrist and above the fray, well too bad. I have always been a centrist, and I don’t engage in hysterics, but rather answers as to why. As for you being sick of it? Well, I don’t give a flying feck, I don’t even know who you are. I don’t recall seeing the Scrap handle before. I suspect I know who you are, but I will leave it there.
Lib: Fair enough, but lots of parroting on here from the Liberal side. Surely, you have not forgotten all the Biden / Harris parroting on her before the election. The days of serious discourse on this blog on a multitude of subjects is over.
8:23, is this even real?!
Like, the world does not hate us enough? And if I may plug in my 2cents in this intellectual discourse, because of Orange turd lickers here who voted for him.
OrangeTurd won’t take the job if offered.
His little mushroom likes kitty cats not prepubescent boys. Plus colors other than blue suits, red ties and orange spray paint don’t go well with his color fashion palette and definitely no red slippers.
Hope the Filipino guy wins.
Dumber than dogshit… how do I turn that into my rap name?
Dum Thee Doo? DTD? Doodee Dog? Dog Doo Be?
I’m open to suggestions.
Woowoo Poo?
HMB,
I’ve never cooked with that before, rarely seen it, but think ive had it as a side dish in Korean restaurants. Maybe H mart sells.
“Oh, and just for shits and giggles, I got an engineering degree.”
Is it TrumpU Accredited?

“the workers in Costco or Target, the sanitation guys, but there you have it. “Dumb jobs”. They have nothing but contempt and disgust for these blue collar workers,”
I’m one of the biggest “Liberals” with a kid that just started at Costco and is getting trained in a manufacturing job! You might want to consider that in your rant.
“Liberals hate these people, they don’t want to live with them, or socialize with them, or have their kids go to school with them. And they don’t want the Black and Hispanics blue collar folks living with them either. ”
I have no problem with it. I grew up in deprived neighborhoods. I have no problem with COAH and wish we had more of it up in this area.
“I know you like to think that hard work built the roads, but it was the visionaries, economists, scientists, and policy-makers who decided where those roads would lead. ”
And it was the Indentured Servitude that actually built them.
“The level of pomposity and air of superiority by some on this blog is just shocking to me. I don’t ever recall in all the years seeing that before.”
3B take a long hard look in the mirror, you are describing yourself!
“I won’t resort to engaging in name calling, even though you enjoy doing that if someone posts something you disagree with, ”
Yet we get … “You are the most ignorant, arrogant, obnoxious, self important individual I think I have ever encountered.”
No one has accused you of “You accuse me of being MAGA and right wing, ”
But I will say that you, Juice and LeftWing, carry a lot of water for Donnie!
